5.0 out of 5 stars Convenient and Effective, but Battery Life Falls Short
The Heywork 20V Cordless Paint Sprayer is a solid choice for DIY projects. It’s easy to use, lightweight, and provides a smooth, even finish. Cleanup is straightforward, and the cordless design makes it super convenient for getting into tight spaces or moving around freely. However, the battery life could be better — it drains faster than expected, so you’ll likely need to recharge frequently during larger projects. Overall, it’s a handy tool, but the battery could use an upgrade for extended use.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works well
Product is lightweight and powerful. Easy to use and setup.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for medium jobs, could use larger battery for medium sized jobs
After using this sprayer for a few small projects, I’m quite impressed by its performance and versatility. Setup was simple, and while the included battery pack doesn't come charged, it only took a couple hours to recharge. Some of the other portable sprayers don't come with the battery, so that's a nice benefit of this one. I’ve used it for repainting a birdbath and touching up the trim on my house, and it handled both tasks with ease. The four interchangeable nozzles and adjustable spray patterns made it adaptable to different projects, whether I was working with latex paint or a more delicate surface.A key thing to keep in mind is that you need to thin your paint properly, as advised in the manual. This is crucial for smooth operation. The included viscosity gauge really helps, and once I had the right consistency, the spray was even and precise. The sprayer is lightweight and compact, which makes it comfortable to use for longer periods without fatigue. Cleanup is also a breeze, with all parts coming apart easily for washing. My only complaint is that the battery for this probably isn't big enough for extended spraying. It lasted me for over 30 min without issue, but it's a 2.0Ah packFor small to medium-sized projects, this sprayer is fantastic. It saves time compared to brushes and rollers, and I found it especially useful in areas where precision was needed. While it's not suited for large, heavy-duty jobs like painting a whole house, it's perfect for touch-ups, doors, furniture, or smaller surfaces. For the price, ease of use, and quality, I highly recommend this paint sprayer!
1.0 out of 5 stars Horrible!
This paint sprayer is horrible, it does not spray evenly, despite my husband trying to use all of the different nozzles, he said this is the worst paint sprayer he has ever tried to use. There was not one single thing he liked about it! Very disappointed, we had high hopes for it, his paint sprayer is old, but he had to bust it out to finish the painting project.
4.0 out of 5 stars Short jobs only
I ordered the paint sprayer to paint a small metal fence. The sprayer comes with most things you would need to use it. It is easy to put together and the instructions are easy to follow and understand. The sprayer is sturdy, i dropped it and it had no issues at all after. The assorted spraying tips are a nice feature. I did have a issue with the gun not spraying evenly. This caused running of paint which is a big hassle.Pros: The sprayer is lightweight and easy to hold in your hand. Assembly is only a few steps and your ready to paint. The battery charges fairly quickly.Cons: The tips cause uneven spraying even clean. The battery life makes it impossible to complete even a small job. You would need multiple batteries or a larger battery to even finish a small job. It is somewhat impractical. You would need extra batteries to make this worth while. I have many battery operated tools and none of them have such little charge available. Making the sprayer adaptable with other manufacturers batteries would make a huge difference.
5.0 out of 5 stars Simple
I recently moved offices in my home and the walls were full of holes. A bit of spackle helped, but it still triggers my OCD and I hate painting. No matter what I've tried, I just can't get good touch up using a roller. I can always see where it's blended with other paint and I don't want to repaint the whole room. Well, right around this time I saw the Heywork paint sprayer and wondered why I didn't realize the solution sooner.I plugged the charger into the battery before the wall and was surprised to see it light up, as that means that power is flowing from the battery TO the charger, which seems unusual. Green light stayed on when I plugged it into the wall, but it became red after unplugging/replugging the battery. Charging the battery took about two hours and the light turned green when done. The sprayer is very easy to assemble, which I appreciate because when things get messy, it's nice to not have a bunch of parts with complicated locking mechanisms. Operation is also easy. Most importantly, I found it pretty simply to blend my patches to get a good result that doesn't make my skin crawl every time I look at it!
5.0 out of 5 stars worked well for small job
I received this as part of the Bolo Vine program. This sprayer includes one small battery and a charger. I used this sprayer to touch up some patio furniture and it worked well without needing to plug into an electric cord. When I tried to use it to paint 2 wood picnic tables I had to use a 6 Ah battery for enough run time to finish both tables. I would recommend it for small jobs, but for larger projects you may want to make sure that you have compatible batteries available
5.0 out of 5 stars Sprays neatly and steadily
I saw this cordless spray gun and immediately thought about spraying my hibiscus plants or white fly. I usually have to use a pump or hand sprayer, and it gets tiring. Thinking out of the box, I figured that a paint sprayer would necessarily have a smooth, steady stream and would be ideal for a liquid mixture with a lower viscosity than paint. Seems like folks experienced clogging, so I think this will work fabulously in the garden without having to manually pump or keep pressing a lever. I can't speak to a thicker liquid like paint, but I'd be very confident if the paint were thinned, this little sprayer would do a great job with it. However, it would likely not be ideal for a large project, so perhaps multiple batteries would be advised for a larger job.
