5.0 out of 5 stars Love the versatility of these headphones!
The clarity of the sound is amazing. And I love that I can switch from wireless to wired to Bluetooth. And the different settings if you're hearing music or watching a movie or gaming. These headphones are definitely worth it!
4.0 out of 5 stars Bluetooth does not work well
I had to try at least 5 times to connect the Bluetooth to my gaming pc. Razer should work better on Bluetooth connection.
1.0 out of 5 stars Poor quality
Razer is a brand I loved in the past but as of recent it's been getting worse and worse. I have the kraken tournament and v3 wired hypersense and I liked those since the build was good with metal but this v4 is crap. Plastic everywhere and it feels cheap. I can't keep going with a company which lowers quality and increases prices.
5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic headset for Windows 11 gaming PC!
This arrived very well packaged in a beautiful Razer box that displayed the headset and a lot of it's features. It was completely undamaged and the unboxing experience was fun! Included in the box was the headset, a wireless dongle, some very nice USB cables for charging or using in wired mode, and also for use with the USB dongle if necessary. Lastly a small instruction pamphlet and some nice Razer stickers. The first thing I noticed was the build quality of the headset. It is just about perfect. It feels quite durable despite being mostly plastic. I love the cloth material Razer used on the ear pads and head band. This headset is extremely comfortable and I had no issues at all and can wear it for long periods of time. My sister tried it and she thought it was very comfortable, but she has a smaller head and had a hard time keeping the headset in place. It would move on her and I did not have this issue. Just something to keep in mind if you have a small head size.I used this headset on a newer Windows 11 gaming PC. It worked perfect in wired or wireless mode. I did not test on a blue tooth device as I never use blue tooth. The best thing is that it worked perfect without using any software at all. Windows 11 saw it immediately in either mode.Sound wise, I was amazed there was nothing I had to do. Generally I need to use an EQ to adjust the sound to my liking. Razer has these tuned exactly as I would have done so myself. It is very rare that I plug in a headset and have to do no sound adjustments, but that was the case here. In games and music it just sounded great. Nice bass and very clear overall sound. I was quite surprised. You can adjust sound without any software with some presets on a button on the headset. The movies setting sounded best to me. Music was good also and very close to movies. The games setting removed a lot of the bass and I did not like it as much. The retractable mic is quite good. Tested in Discord, I sounded clear and unmuffled to the person I was talking to.The rgb lights are great. You cannot see them while your using the headset but they are still fun to have. They really look good and do not seem to affect battery life much.To get the most out of this headset you might want to use the Razer Synapse software. I have had some issues with this software in the past, and it seems to use a lot of system resources, but Razer has been improving it from what I have read so might be worth trying. You can also use these with other audio programs like Equalizer APO.So really I love this headset! It's extremely comfortable, and the sound is awesome out of the box. The only cons I really have are it's movement on smaller heads, and maybe the Synapse software, which is not necessary to use. I think Razer did a great job with these and I love that they are simply plug and play on my Windows gaming PC.
5.0 out of 5 stars Versatile headset, good for more than just gaming.
Though designed for gaming, I find this headset to be pretty good for just about anything that requires audio and talking.Bluetooth connectivity is excellent. It connects to my phone or laptop seamlessly with no drops or lag. I've not noticed any issues or major differences with voice quality over bluetooth v the 2.4ghz dongle on calls or chats. To get the most out of these, you'll need to download the Synapse software (either V3 or V4 - I used V4) on a computer. Unfortunately, the Android app doesn't have this headset listed as an option and it can't connect to them. That might be fixed on the next update, but for now you have to use a Windows computer - and then you must connect it to the computer via the dongle or USB cable to get it to connect to the software. Even if the headphones are connected via Bluetooth, the software won't recognize that they exist until you physically plug them in. You can not turn off the lights on the side or change their pattern either without the software either, which is frustrating, especially since the mobile app doesn't work with them yet.The sound quality is impressive, but there's no noise cancellation, a bummer.Even so, I love how versatile they are. Headphones, gaming headset, virtual meeting microphone, and everything in between. They're comfortable enough for me to wear for hours even with my big hair they don't cause excessive ear or head fatigue.4.7/5
3.0 out of 5 stars The hyperspeed stopped working
I love the headphones I’ve had them for a week now the audio is great good bass and treble love the options to either raise or lower voice chat but the hyperspeed is acting up it will work for about 30 minutes then all audio will shut off and the only fix for it is to have someone on call on discord and the have audio constantly playing on the call from their end no other noise fixes it I might send my pair back for a replacement but I might just wait for a driver update to see if that fixes it. Also please add a way to mess with the rgb in Bluetooth mode
