5.0 out of 5 stars Worked to fix my blend door issue
5th generation Camaro’s have an issue with the blend door on the heater. I was able to use this to stop hot antifreeze from going into the heater core in the hot months, and switch it to allow heat when it got cold. Great inexpensive workaround!
5.0 out of 5 stars By-pass heater core..
It worked great, closed the valve to where it wasn't going through heater core. It stayed norm to outdoor temp. Once I opened it to travel through the heater core it got real hot. I found some red and blue tip c-clamps to help with identifying valve position. Happy with product

Let me preface this review with this statement; "I do NOT order items that I do not intend to use myself". That said; this item is the true "why didn't I invent this" unit. I collect and restore old Class 8 trucks, did NOT say I was bright, just that is what I do. One of the big issues with these old girls is the heating system, especially the cabovers. It's not that they do not heat well, it's that usually they heat TOO well. If you add A/C to them, as I do, you have to literally SHUT the engine coolant supply to the heating system completely off to get any benefit from the A/C at all. ENTER this guy, man what an easy, clean and brilliant valve this is. Hook the supply lines from the engine to one side, heater to the other, you are now done. Only thing left is to select what you want with ONE twist of a knob.In case you could not tell......I LOVE IT. Well made and simply brilliant.
