I don’t feel like the set was as long lasting as I thought they would be, but for the size of the candle, they work pretty great and last a long time. I personally use a candle warmer lamp, and it works great with it.

This is a great candle set for a gift.The white tea one is my favorite. But my husband loves the santal one. The box is really nice and very easily ready to gift as soon as you get it.The matte black metal tins makes this a classy looking gift and unisex at the same time depending who you’re gifting it to.The scents really carry as well. You can smell them before you open the box.They’re soy candles which I love which won’t cause soot to get into your nose when they’re burning. I look forward to using these for the hallway table.These can be used just for display or you can just use them for the smell as well. I lit the white tea candle and put it on my night stand to use for relaxing and unwinding at night.I think this is a great set and very nicely priced. Especially how it looks , so I’ll get another one to gift.

I just love this set of 3 scented soy candles. They are each in their own little tin can and come packaged in a nice box so would be a great gift. The scent is nice and not overpowering, they burn nicely and look great. Good price too.

Scents are subjective. I’ve reviewed other candles and incense, and I always say the same thing as there’s really no way to objectively review a scent. That said, I can offer my opinion on a scent and do my best to remain objective about a product's value. From that point of view, I don’t feel these candles justify their asking price. Of course, perceived value can be just as subjective as scent, but for the sake of this review, I’ll pretend it’s not.Before I dive into why I don’t think these candles are worth the price, I’ll start by saying the scents, while not mind-blowing, aren’t too bad in my opinion. I usually love the scent of amber, but the Amber & Moss candle was just okay at best. Maybe it’s more moss than amber—I’m not sure—but it didn’t come across the way I’d expect from an amber scent. I thought the Santal smelled the best out of the bunch before lighting it, but once lit, the scent was so light I could hardly notice it. For me, this one was the most disappointing. Granted, the space I use these in is fairly large. The scent that surprised me most was the White Tea, which I initially found a bit unpleasant before lighting. After lighting it, though, it turned out to be both my favorite scent of the three and the most fragrant in the room. A nice surprise to say the least.Now, as for why I don’t think these candles are worth the asking price: they’re simply too small. I also find it hard to believe that these will burn for the “approximately” 60 combined hours they claim. Of course, I could be wrong, but based on how long I’ve burned each so far and how much wax is left, my best guess is that you’ll get roughly 12-15 hours each at most. Additionally, while the packaging is nice, the thin tin containers get way too hot. In fact, they even warn you not to burn the candles for too long and to stop using them when the wax gets low. Considering my opinion of the scents, how well they did or didn’t fill the room, along with the size and more realistic burn time of the candles, I just can’t recommend them at $9 per candle at full price.That’s not to say these are terrible candles—they’re not. It’s just a matter of value. When I can get more candles, or larger and longer-burning ones, for less, the math simply doesn’t add up. At the right price, I do think they’d make a great gift. At the right price, I might even suggest buying them for yourself. But for them to be priced right, I personally think they’d need to come down quite a bit. Honestly, I wouldn’t pay more than $15 for these. Your mileage may vary, but when it comes to my dollars and cents, I’d be looking to spend them elsewhere.
