I've seen too many cooking videos using sous vide for steak and wasted too many veggies in the fridge. This is a game changer as I can put the seasonings inside the bag while sealing it, so the food no longer gets preserved long and easier to cook right in the bag.One bonus is the sealing function. If you open any packages, like chips or veggies, you can use this sealing function to close them again w/o the hassle of finding clippers and worried it's not sealing them well.Another thing that makes me buy this one specifically is that it comes with two rolls of bags and dozens of half-made bags, and the usage is as simple as pressing a button. So it's super easy for beginners. One thing I haven't tried so far is the Mason Jar. I don't have one, but I'm sure it'll work well, given my current experience.

Getting straight to the point, it works very well and does exactly what you would expect from it. So far I’ve used it to prepare a large amount of food to keep in my freezer and I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a tight seal from anything I’ve bought from a store before. I thought I packed my food in pretty tightly but when I used the vacuum I realized there was plenty more space since it shrunk the bag down really well. I’m very impressed so far with all the features and the quality. Also the double seal gives you extra peace of mind that your food will stay fresh for a long time.
