5.0 out of 5 stars Unpack and print. It’s that easy!
(function(){ P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function'){ A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })() First 3D printer ever and I must admit I was shocked how easy it was to learn and how fast I was up and running and printing. Took a few minutes to understand Creality Print software but it is straightforward with default settings. Print quality is excellent! Speed is fast! Can’t go wrong with this unit!
1.0 out of 5 stars Can't Creality make a good extruder?! This K1 has stopped pushing filament.
The media could not be loaded. The printer itself is amazing. The extruder sucks! Filament changes are a nightmare! I can force feed the filament (unlocked, just pushing it through) and extrudes fine. Once locked in, it just clicks and won't feed. This was an upgrade from a Ender 3 S1 Pro for me, and the extruder on that printer sucked, too. I ordered a new extruder - $26 - if that doesn't fix it I'm returning it. Works great until it doesn't. Cannot recommed. They just make horrible extruders.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great machine, especially for the price
I really like this machine for "out of the box" printing. It literally is an assemble and run machine. The print quality is good to great. For the price point, superb.Ease of use is also up there. This is NOT a full feature machine, and for the price I wouldn't expect it to be. If you're printing in one color at a time, and you're not making high production parts but you need very good dimensional tolerances, this is a perfect mid-level machine. I have printed roughly a dozen spools before I had a nozzle issue, and that was mostly my fault for not properly fusing the old and new spools.I have two now running around the clock, and aside from changing the filament when it runs out, these are basically maintenance free.I may update this review once I have another 1000 hours of print time, but so far these have been worth every penny - technically they paid for themselves on the first job, and have been "printing money" since.
5.0 out of 5 stars Creality K1 MAX Review
The Creality K1 MAX has been used almost everyday since I received it. After a few install parts and removal of set screws, it worked straight out of the box with no additional issues. If you have owned Ender Series Creality 3D printer, this K1 MAX will eliminate the tedious process of bed leveling. K1 MAX does this automatically donr with ease.Creality provides a library of STLs that you can choose from with collaboration with other users. Sometimes, those STLs are exclusive to the Creality users. The only problem that I had with this product wasn't from Creality, but with Bolo. I bought the product with a delivery date in two weeks. I never received tracking information for the product until 2 days before the required delivery date. The Creality printer could have been shipped to me less than 2 weeks, but Bolo choose to send it to me exactly two weeks. Why? I don't know.I believe that this printer is probably the best for the value for beginners and season 3D printer experts.
4.0 out of 5 stars Seems tonvery well built
A manual would have been nice
1.0 out of 5 stars Cheaply built with no customer support
Works great until it doesn't.I'm a beginner at 3D printing and thought I should shell out more money for a unit that has auto-calibration/leveling and a bunch of nice features that wouldn't complicate my learning experience. I was aiming to print cosplay props and DIY projects for my job. So, while using the included PLA filament was great and easy, I paid more money to get PETG filament that was more heat-resistant and impact resistant. I didn't buy 3rd party filament or accessories; I only bought Creality branded equipment.I did my research and replaced the filament using the Creality educational videos on Youtube. I re-ran the calibration and changed to PETG options on the slicer software (what you use to send 3D files to the printer). What occurred afterwards was the 'blob of death' and it completely covered the fragile wires above the nozzle and hardened. Since I'm a beginner, I thought I should reach out to Creality to get some help fixing this, especially since it was the Creality silicone sock that failed to protect the wiring above the nozzle.I wrote them an email detailing what I did and how the silicone sock pushed the molten plastic UP the nozzle and into the extruder while remaining hidden. I sent them the email for fix recommendations and asked if I had done anything wrong (in order to prevent this from happening again). I has almost been a business week and I have not received any notice of ticket submission/creation, nor a response to my inquiry. Don't count on Creality support to supply you any help, even after you follow the submission instructions with receipts and serial numbers.I lost hope and began to follow the Creality supplied maintenance/repair videos to remedy the issue I was having. So, I began to take apart the extruder and noticed so many poorly soldered connectors and wires. Frankly, I'm surprised that a device so precise can be so cheaply made.In short, if you're new to 3D printing, I'd recommend to stay away from this unit and any product from Creality, because you will not receive support after you paid a hefty amount for their products.I'm most likely going to return this item, as it is defective and I don't want to go past my return window (in case if Creality just continues to ignore my warranty claim)
5.0 out of 5 stars This is the best printer I own, fast and accurate
This is my fourth 3D printer. The K1 Maxis significantly faster and more accurate than the others that I own. The bed size is nearly as large as my Tronxy X5sa pro and has a considerably smaller foot print. The fans are a little loud but if that s what it takes to get the speed, I am good with that. I did have a problem with the heated bed not being flat. After contacting Creality, and describing the problem, they agreed to send me another one. It arrived in a few days. This is much better service than I am used to with the other printers that I have where it can take weeks to get a replacement parts. This is a quality machine that is solidly built. My next printer will be a Creality K2.
