In those days, aesthetics didn't really enter the conversation as much as dust, airflow, and keeping the side panels and rear fittings from slicing your fingers open. The PC case/parts world has changed a lot. I just finished transferring my PC parts into this new case and it is beautiful. I am obsessed!I'm blown away by the build quality, looks, and design (both practical and aesthetic design) of this case. The fan-mounted LEDs are cool (check out my pics), but what really blew me away was the thought about placement of power supply, rear channels/panels for running cables "behind the scenes" and thoughtful placement of openings to discreetly sneak cables around and over to exactly where they want to be. As things stand, not a single cable is run across or over my motherboard - everything is tucked in from the side with less than 1-2 inches of cable visible through the glass panels. The case itself is a mix of metal and glass - which is great, because my last case became "sticky" as many electronics purchased in the late 90s/early 2000s, are starting to become as the plastic starts to "sweat" oils. The clear front and side panels are tempered glass - very sturdy. The metal parts are mostly perforated, which is great for airflow, but does let a little more noise out of the case than you might be expecting if your last case was all solid panels. For me, I prefer the airflow and can control fan speed in other ways to limit noise, so no issues there. The other bonus of the perforated sides and bottom - you can randomly mount 2.5 drives all over the place, if you have the SATA ports to run them. "Officially", the case holds a few different configurations of drives, but maxes out at about 4 (two SSDs in each of the two locations that you can mount drives). If you have all 3.5 HDDs, you're looking at 3. However, there's a lot of empty space between the drive mount area and the power supply, and if you mount them sideways, you could easily fit 5 to 10 SSDs in there, depending on how you space them. Take a look at my attached pictures for an example of how I did it.Two notes of instruction/warning:1. I initially spent about 10 minutes feeling very dumb because I couldn't figure out how to open it. The tiny instruction manual that comes with the case just showed the panels folding downwards, separating at the top as if the bottom was a hinge. I noticed little finger holds and tugged on one and it popped out - so if you're stumped like me, look around the top of each panel and tug on the little indentations - there are plastic "nubs" holding the tops in place and everything snaps together/pulls part with a little tug or a push.2. I didn't notice at first, but the little fan/led controller chip on the back needs to be independently powered by a SATA power connector from your power supply - the same one you connect to your drives, if they are SATA drives. I spent a few minutes wondering why the fans and lights weren't coming on when I booted, then gave it another look and noticed the power port on the right hand side. So, don't be like me - give the fans and lights some power before you boot up.So, in summary, if you want to upgrade your PC and are looking for an affordable solution, with built in cable management, great airflow, and potentially space to "unofficially" mount a ton of SSDs, this might be your case!

5.0 out of 5 stars Chipped glass and defective fan but great support from Sama

The media could not be loaded. Overall this is quite a nice case. Looks great and was able to accommodate my build including my 360mm radiator at the top. I know my cable management is terrible, but there’s ample room to stuff all the wires in the back and keep the front looking clean. My only complaint for usability is the panels are slightly difficult to pop off. The notch to get your finger behind is pretty shallow. But they do have a positive latch that securely keeps them in place which is good. It’s best to start with removing the metal panel, then work your way around front to the glass panels so you have something to get your finger behind. One thing I think could have been better but is easily fixed, is they include dust screens for the bottom and top, but none for the intake on the side. I bought a DIY screen and magnet kit for like $8 and will add it myself. Now the more serious problems. The front glass panel came with a chip in the edge despite being very well packaged. Second, one of the fans is extremely loud. It has a very audible hum where as the rest, all you hear is air moving. I reached out to the company via their webpage regarding replacements and never got a reply. Then I reached out through Bolo to contact the seller and got a response there. They have been responsive there and I’ve been getting daily replies.Because this is a new case in their lineup, they don’t have any parts in their warehouse. They couldn’t help with the glass panel but for the fans, they offered to send 6 from another case type so that they would be matching. I thought that was cool, they weren’t just concerned with getting a functional fan out but in keeping the aesthetics looking good as well.In the end I decided to order another and send back the one with the chipped glass. It’s minor but I want it perfect. What got me in trouble was the glass panels have a protective film on them. I left that on until the install was complete. Then I peeled it off and found the chip.To be fair, damage from shipping or whatever can happen to any product. As can it shipping with defective parts. What matters is a company standing behind their product and it seems like Sama is doing a good job there. I think this is a beautiful case that’s easy to work with. It feels solid in all the right places. I would still recommend it.My suggestion would be to carefully inspect everything before you start your build. Including removing the film on the glass and make sure they are good. If there’s issues, you can rely on Bolo’s easy return process. If after assembly you discover an issue like me with a fan or whatever. You can be assured the company will be there to make it right. Just reach out through Bolo, not their website.
