5.0 out of 5 stars Love these! They're so soothing and hydrating.
I'm no stranger to the popularity of I'm From's rice toner; I'd heard so many good things about it. As a K-beauty lover, I was very excited to try the rice toner pads. The rice used in the toner is specially cultivated in Yeoju, Korea. The ingredient list itself is not a mile long, pretty tame compared to others. These are meant to help even skin tone and provide moisture. For those wondering, it does list niacinamide as the 5th ingredient. However, the formula is incredibly gentle. I'm someone whose skin can't tolerate higher percentage niacinamide, but these have not irritated my skin at all. That being said, I have only been using them every other day as part of my AM routine. I needed to ensure my skin could handle it first, and it's going great so far. I'll probably start using them daily soon.Skin type: combo leaning dry/dehydrated, type 1 rosacea on cheeks. I hate that I have additional texture on my cheeks, so I'm excited that my skin is handling the rice toner pads well. You can apply pads to the face and wear them for up to 30 minutes, or just pat them/swipe them over your face to soak in the toner. I typically do the latter, as I don't have time for the former lol.Pros: so soothing, they feel great going on. Doesn't cause any separation or pilling under makeup or other skincare products. They really do add a nice additional layer of hydration, which my skin desperately needs. They seem to help calm down minor skin irritation. I've started a new moisturizer recently too, but I do have to say that my skin is looking more plump and brighter. Love the little tweezers and the packaging. Love that the toner soaks in easily and doesn't leave a film once dry.Cons: can't really think of any! I really like these.
5.0 out of 5 stars Convenient and moisturizing
I like the ease of using pre-soaked toner pads. This product comes in a good sized container that snaps shut securely to prevent the pads from drying out. The entire stack of pads is saturated very well with toner. It's amazing how much product is in one thin pad when you use it on your skin. One pad is definitely plenty for your face and neck. They have a very light scent. I do find that my skin has a slight tacky feeling to it after using these pads, but I believe that is because they are formulated to hydrate and moisturize. This is an advantage because a lot of other toners can dry out skin and strip moisture.
4.0 out of 5 stars Tiny, Thin Pads with a Nice Toner
First off, these toner pads are pretty small and thin, so that was a bit disappointing. But thankfully the toner itself is a nice liquidy mixture that leaves my skin feeling soft and nourished. There is no scent and no feeling of oiliness after application. Because the pads are so thin, it's sometimes hard to pull them apart from one another. I have been using these before bed after washing my face, and it's good to see that it cleanses my skin just a tad more, removing all traces of makeup and soap residue.
5.0 out of 5 stars Summer is over, time to change formulas... Impressive!
As a note, I'm from Mugwort during the summer for a few days after extra sun exposure. It works well for me to offset the UV damage and irritation. As we go into fall, I decided to try I'm from rice for nourishment and smoothing.Pros:✅ No reaction, nice and mild, feels cool and clean✅ Pads are thick and saturated, you can cover your whole face and neck✅ Very moisturizing, you sometimes don't need to follow up with cream. Definitely adds a bit of glow and works great under other glowing formulas✅ $28 is a reasonable price and is about what I expect to pay for pads of similar and premium quality
5.0 out of 5 stars Super hydrating
These toner pads are ultra convenient and I prefer them over a sheet mask, both for comfort and since I have combination skin. I am able to put on a toner pad for each of my cheeks where my skin is driest, while not doing the oilier area in my T-zone. Much more comfortable than doing a whole sheet mask and easier to do more regularly. You can also just swipe a pad over your whole face to get a layer of the product all over. The toner pads are soaked in a solution that is thicker than regular toner but slightly thinner than serum. It is absorbed quickly but does leave something behind on the skin afterward, so I think this is best for the cold and dry months. This is my overall impression of the I'm from Rice line- everything I've tried from it is very hydrating. The pads come in a round plastic jar and there is a set of plastic tweezers that store in their own little holder on the inside of the lid. Makes it much easier and more hygienic to grab a single pad.
5.0 out of 5 stars Silky smooth rice toner pads with included tongs to make use easy
These silky, soft rice toner pads are well tolerated on my sensitive skin. I used them usually after shaving (I'm a guy) and they add a refreshing feel to my face. No signs of redness or blemishes after I tried them a few times. They aren't very exfoliating like other pads, so these I used to sooth my skin. They do leave a silky residue that takes a few minutes to full soak into your skin. They do not have a fragrance and my sinuses are thankful. They include a pop top and tongs so you don't have to put your fingers into the container and contaminate it each time you use it, which is a nice addition.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice moisturizing toner pads
This review is for the I’m From Rice toner pads. This comes in a nice size tub with a small set of plastic tweezers to pick up a pad. However, every time I tried to pick up just one toner pad, a whole little bundle would get picked up and I’d have to peel off the one that I wanted. I feel like it ends up being just as easy to pick it out with my fingers because either way, I’m handling more than just one of the pads at a time. It’s not heavily fragranced and the toner pads have a good amount of liquid. They sweep across my face easily and I didn’t feel any irritation. My face felt nicely moisturized afterwards, like I had applied a light serum almost. This is a much more convenient way of applying toner as compared to getting out a toner bottle and a cotton pad or ball.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good toner
This is a good toner, I would consider the formula pretty simple/mild. I didn't have any irritation or sensitivity using them on my combination skin. The pads are quite wet, which is fine with me because I'd rather have to squeeze one out a bit than have to use multiple pads because they're too dry.
