This has a very soft velvety feel on one side of the no eyes mask and a cooling gel bead on the other. The problem I have run into using the cooling gel bead on one side is that it does not stay cool very long. However, when you use the velvety soft side against your eyes, it stays cooler a lot longer. The other mask has eyeholes and is cooling gel beads on both sides. Nice for an instant cooling sensation, but cooling gel beats only last about 15 to 20 minutes before they turn warm for me. The beauty of having two masks though is that you can easily swap to the other one so you always have one cool.

I’ve found myself getting addicted to both facial and eye masks, especially when they come straight from the freezer. They are cooling, soothing and make me feel a sense of dark, safe and wonderful comfort. Yes, they are cold, often a bit too cold for a couple of minutes immediately upon coming out of the freezer. I wait that brief period of time though and then put them on.These two BeeVines masks give you the option to use either a plastic or a fabric side, an interesting and useful idea. The fabric side does not get as cold, or at least it doesn’t feel painfully cold, so it softens faster and for the first couple of minutes I often use the fabric, then switch over to the plastic side.The one con is that when they are frozen they become stiff as ice would be and do not conform to your face until they can soften a bit. As it takes only a minute or so for them to soften slightly—you can actually hear the crackle as they do so—I did not deduct any stars for that. I have others that do not do that but in this case I felt the longer “icy” time these offer over other masks more than made up for that.I always store them in the freezer in their bags and so far they are working perfectly. (I have not tried heating them because I prefer cold. But maybe that would feel good too?While I have come to slightly prefer Velcro to close masks I think these buckled straps work very well. They don’t tangle my hair and that’s good.Highly recommended.

I've historically used a wet washcloth as a cold compress over my eyes if I had a headache or if they were really tired to relax them. Now I have these guys. The box comes with two masks and two "anti-odor bags". The anti-odor bags are perfectly sized to slide the mask into so that any odors that may be in your fridge or freezer are kept off your masks.These can go into the fridge or the freezer to be cooled. If you freeze them, then you'll get a longer lasting cold. They have "two settings"... cold and colder. To just have it be cold, place the softer velvety fabric against your skin and enjoy. If you needed it colder then go wild and place the icy pack side against your skin. For me, the icy pack side was a bit TOO intense. However, if you need basically ice on your face this product will provide that for you.The one mask has eye holes that were adequate to still see out of. You'll have to "pre-break" the mask if you pull it out of the freeze to make the eye holes align better to your eyes and to get a better fit in general. The strap on the back is VERY adjustable.

This product came with 2 masks. One with eye holes, one without. I tried the one with eye holes and quickly realized it doesn't make sense for someone wearing glasses lol. Since I couldn't see without my glasses anyway. It felt fine. It was very relaxing to wear the mask. It was a nice "treat yourself" kind of evening.My wife tried the other mask (no eye holes). It immediately made her face itch? I don't know why. I wanted to include that in my review. if you have sensitive skin, I would recommend washing it first and go into it with the understanding that your skin might react funny.

Love how the band is adjustable so i can wear the ones with eye holes walking around doing things around the kitchen or chores or whatever. The one with no eye holes is good for lying down and tuning into an audiobook or podcast for a while.I store them both in the fridge so they're always chilled and ready. (The freezer made them TOO cold and they became frozen blocks of ice.)I'm taking a star off because I wish it lay more flat against my eyelids for depuffing purposes, but the bridge of nose gets in the way a lot. (And I have a small nose.)

This mask comes in 2 different types one has holes over the eyes the other has no holes over the eyes. Made of very nice quality materials the outside is a soft velvet like feeling material and the inside is clear vinyl with the gel beads inside them the strap is adjustable to best fit you most comfortably these are XL which I like because it get more coverage on the face than just the eyes exclusively. They have a nice appearance and provide pain relief for puffy eyes after injections for Botox or surgery or sooth tired eyes. Since they come in a 2 pack you can also share with your family or swap out to use if you left one out of the freezer to use when the other is thawed out. I haven’t used these for warming my eyes I prefer using them only to ice my eyes but they have both options just follow the instructions for warming them so you don’t damage the masks. It comes with a clear bag to store them in the freezer so they stay fresh.
Great value relaxing eye masks
I ordered the BeeVines Ice Eye Mask, 2 Pack JUMBO Cooling Gel Masks for myself.I get very tired and dry eyes, and have a constant puffiness under my left eye.By 7.30pm, I struggle to keep my eyes open due to extreme eye fatigue. I've tried countless eye drops.The product arrived well packaged and in very good condition.The set of 2 gel bead eye masks is convenient for different uses and sharing with family & friends.Each eye mask appears to be well manufactured with no defects, marks or imperfections.The plastic appears good quality and the velvet side is more appealing for comfort.The elastic band is stretchy enough for my quite large head and fits comfortably.The cold and warm applications seem very effective.I tend to heat the gel eye mask in the microwave following the instructions carefully.I find the heated treatment more effective at reducing eye puffiness and tiredness.I like the combination of mask with and without eye holes too.Overall, a great quality set at a reasonable price compared with similar products on the market.
A couple issues but otherwise above average. Want to note you can't wear glasses with it.
The media could not be loaded. I didn't like:--Size of the eye holes for the eye version, a bit too small to really see properly through them.--The bags that are used to put them in the freezer are too small, and can rip easy.That's all, I actually liked the rest, it was comfortable to use, your supposed to put them on with soft side towards the skin, it did feel cold to the touch but was tolerable, useful for pain relief and kinda like putting cold cucumbers on the eyelids with the sealed mask version.There are 2 masks in the box, one with eyes cut out to allow you to see through it, the other fully sealed for lying down or just lying back. They help with headaches, blepharitis, can reduce the circulation of blood around the eye, can help relief from burning or paintful feeling due to an eye strain. There is a lot of vision loss for me with the open eye mask, but It did help a bit with headache, blepharitis is best with hot compression.I still like these masks because they are comfortable to wear and easily adjustable with the straps, if it came with larger open eye area just a bit, and larger freezer bags I would have rated 5. These last about 15-20 minutes or so before they need recharging.To use them:Freezer: Put in the freezer for 30 minutes minimum.Microwave: Medium power for 20-30 seconds, if you want hotter, put in for about 10 seconds increments until you achieve your desired heat level.They say never to mix hot and cold at last give it 15-20 minutes break before switching. What I liked the most was the comfort level, the material is soft and was very comfortable.
Works very well, quality pair of masks.
Good set of eye masks by BeeVines and have found them to be quite effective. I've been using a small gel eye mask which would loose it's coolness after a couple of minutes so it was really no good at all but these masks by BeeVines are so much better.There are two ways to use these eye masks which I like but what I like even more is having the option to switch between the full mask or one with eye holes. There's a set of well written instructions which are easy to read and understand for using the masks both hot and cold.I've been using these for cold therapy and after leaving the mask in the freezer for a few hours I was ready to use it. I could put them in the fridge as the instructions also suggests but I prefer the extra coolness the freezer provides. You can wear the mask either way so if the gel beaded side is too cold I can easily switch it around. I then straped it to my face securely using the adjustable strap and had it on for about 10 minutes. My head is small but the mask fit me fine. There's also two resealable plastic bags for holding the masks to avoid odours transfering to them which is a good idea. Overall, good quality pair of eye masks.
I love these eye masks
Due to having migraines I always have an eye mask in the fridge ready to pop on. I have ones that cover the eyes completely but there has been a few times that I wanted to do something while still wearing the mask and I can't do that when the mask has no eye holes. This double pack is exactly what I needed. When my migraines are really bad I will use the full mask and when I still need to do things and need to see I will use the ones with the eye holes. 1 side is plasticky and 1 side is lined with a soft plush material. I personally like the freezing cold effect that the plastic side brings but I can see that it might be too cold for some people. The plush side still lets the cool feeling through without freezing you. Both masks have an adjustable strap to fit different sizes heads. I personally love these masks, I honestly wouldn't be able to get a migraine without them.
Great way to relax
These eye masks are excellent value for money. I like that you get two options - one with the eye holes and one without. I like wearing the one with the eyeholes while I'm watching the TV. It's really cooling and relaxing, but doesn't interfere with me being able to watch the TV. The other cooling mask is great if you're meditating or just relaxing before bed.It has a soft fabric side and a plastic side. Personally, I prefer the fabric side, although you do get a great cooling effect from the other side. The adjustable strap means that you can put them on so they're comfortable and they stay in place.You have the option of using it cool or heating it up. I've only used it cool, as I find this more soothing than the warm option, but I like that I have the option.Overall, these masks are great and good value for money.
