5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good!
For the price and the hall sticks, it's really a risk-free try.Controller feel is pretty good - it's not the body quality of the first party/Microsoft controllers, but it's decently heavy enough, doesn't feel like it's pushing the line of cheapness IMO at all.The care and love is in the joysticks, bumpers and triggers. The buttons are, fine, the membrane is pretty fair. They have a nice sort of groove pattern around the DPAD outer ring, bumpers, and top of the triggers. To my fingers, that texture fits pretty well, but it'll probably feel not as nice if you've a bigger or larger than average size hand maybe.I do agree the DPAD is left to be desired, but that's not really the purpose for this controller for me, and anything that is wanting intense DPAD play I just have a dedicated controller for, similar to a Saturn pad or just something with DPAD care in mind.I definitely feel like for this controllers pretty minor shortcomings, the price stands firm. If you want something to give a little more push in design there are plenty of other options, and this is a really nice replacement for my PS4 controller that has been Frankenstein'd in some areas due to it's wear and tear.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great controller 👌
When I got the controller I hooked it up to my laptop to check for stick drift on different sites and there was none. It was sitting at 0.0 for both sticks steady. My Ps5 controllers are at 0.0 too but they jump around and it not steady. I played Madden 25 and kicking field goals was so much easier because I could control the kick meter with this controller.I tried to use the one month game pass code today and it worked 💪.
1.0 out of 5 stars Shoddy QC, unresponsive vendor.
Initially great. Seriously a good controller. Enough that I bought a second one about 1 week after the first. That one started having issues with a sticky/mushy button about a month or two in.Check out the Bolo reviews. Notice that Bolo Vine customers have unending love for this controller. Those of us who bought it. Not so much. There's a common trend in fragility of the buttons.Support is essentially support theatre. I submitted a request, provided all the information requested like description of the issue, pictures and video.Ghosted.Not even an acknowledgment that the info that I sent was received and being reviewed.I suppose if you don't care about actual support, this controller is fine for the price when a coupon is available. But if you are of the mind to use a warranty if issues pop up, good luck.I'm moving on to another vendor's product. Gamesir isn't the only game in town for Hall effect controllers. I fell for all the hype surrounding Gamesir products.Bolo went above and beyond to help me get a return/refund despite the return window elapsing.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great controller
I had low expectations but this exceeded all of them. It feels great and it’s my favorite controller to use for fifa.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great For the Price!!
Bought these with the full intention to "use and abuse" for games like Call of Duty BO6. Its very light in the hands and it might feel "cheap" but I really like the quality for the price. The hall effect sticks was one of the main reasons I got this controller; furthermore, the wired connection is perfect so I dont have to recharge batteries. My only complaint is that the audio coming from the audio jack is not good.
5.0 out of 5 stars Affordable and Reliable
In the few weeks we’ve had the controller we’ve had no problems! It takes a bit to get used to the Hall effect sticks but once used to it they’re great. Everything feels smooth and no issues have raised. The only thing that could make it better would be a battery pack, but that would probably raise the price a bit. The controller even came with a 1 month game pass subscription but I’m unable to use it as I’m not a new subscriber. The $35 was way worth it, better than paying for an Xbox controller itself.
3.0 out of 5 stars Decent controller
Broke after around a month maybe by user error but I never threw or banged it on anything no clue why it broke.
5.0 out of 5 stars No stick drift
The other controllers we have get stick drift all the time but this one and the other gamesir units I have are responsive and don’t seem to have this issue. Also, the cord is really thick and the colors are awesome.
Quietest controller
I was trying to find a quiet controller and this is QUIETThe cord is long and Bluetooth does work on the pc too.
Currently, nobody does it better than GameSir
I've used many, many Xbox controllers over the years and I keep coming back to GameSir for their quality. My first G7 I got is still going strong after a solid year of gaming on both Xbox and PC. I can't say the same for controllers made by other brands, and that includes the OEM controllers that came straight from Microsoft! Now that's a little embarrassing. So with GameSir you know you're getting great quality. I love the Hall Effect sticks: I've had a few controllers develop stick drift but it isn't even a thought with my GameSir. I wouldn't be surprised if it did eventually get some drift after years and years of use, but at that point we can probably chalk it up to age or natural wear and tear. In point of fact, GameSir advertises that their controllers are good for a staggering 5 million button presses. Again, I'm really not worried about it. I have yet to experience a failure of any kind with any of my five GameSir controllers. But let's talk about this particular controller, shall we? You get a snazzy blue finish with a kinda translucent face on it. Very cool. The T7 has a lot of features that you'll love but doesn't have extra stuff that you might not need, like extra paddle buttons on the back (I don't use rear paddles but if you do, you'll want to look to the G7 instead). The face buttons have a quality feel to them when pressed: same as the triggers and bumpers. You definitely, absolutely will not get cheap controller vibes from the T7, I guarantee it. You will also enjoy a 3.5mm jack for your headset. GameSir includes a long USB-C cable to connect the controller. Yes, that is really the only drawback with this controller if you want to call it that: it is a wired controller only. I prefer a wired controller most of the time so for me, it's nothing. You know what else is awesome? GameSir has include a code for one month free of Xbox Game Pass with each controller. So you can really put their T7 to the test with a month of free gaming. You can't beat that! Not only that, but the T7 is quite reasonably priced, at time of review, at $49.99. If you can live without the back paddles and wireless operation, this is the controller for you.GameSir continues to knock it out of the park with the T7. I'm very happy with mine, and I've no doubt it will provide me with several years of great quality and reliable service. I really can't give a higher endorsement! 5/5, absolutely fantastic.
