5.0 out of 5 stars basically the perfect travel toothbrush!
This is a really nice travel toothbrush.First, this is usb rechargeable, so that may be a plus or a minus for you if you'd prefer a battery-powered one when you're out travelling. You'll need access to a usb port in order to charge this, since it doesn't come with the wall plug, just the cable. But other than that, this thing is nice. It's got all the bells and whistles most electric toothbrushes do these days - 3 different intensity options, 2 minute timer, and an extra brush head.It even comes with this cool magnetic mount that you can use to hold your toothbrush up, which I haven't seen come with any other toothbrushes. The only quibble I'd have about this is maybe the price. It's pretty pricey for a travel toothbrush. But if you travel often and want a nice one, this one is for you.
4.0 out of 5 stars Nice but expensive electric toothbrush. Works great though!
I have used several oral B iO series 2 and series 7 tooth brushes in the past. This Quip 360 oscillating toothbrush compares well with the oral B iO series 2, though Quip is more expensive. The toothbrush is very well made, great quality and simple design with a single button controlling the power and 3 intensities. The intensity modes work well. The 2-min timer is pretty common with electric toothbrushes now, but useful. The pressure sensor is great to remind to be gentle (I need that reminder!)-I have seen this feature only with oral B and Quip 360 so far and no other sonic toothbrushes. The toothbrush came in charged, but I wanted to test the magnetic charger. You can use the charger by itself or attach it to the stand and the toothbrush will charge every time it is set on the stand (though I would not want to over charge it and weaken the battery by charging it after every use). The charging light blinked orange a couple of times, but then the blinking stopped and shows no light. So I do not know if it is continuing to charge or if charging is complete (should show a green light). I will have to try the charging when it is close to running out of power (a full charge should last about 30 days). Cannot yet comment on per-charge or overall battery longevity. The magnetic charger is pretty cool though, so is the magnetic mirror mount. It also came with a travel case and a total of 2 brush heads (same number as oral B, will last 6mos). I have had other sonic vibration toothbrushes that came with as many as 8 replacement heads and most of the other features Quip 360 has. Original replacement brush heads are sold at $12/count (sold as 4 pack) on Bolo and the brush came with a $15 discount, but not sure if it is valid on Bolo. In comparison, Oral B generic replacement heads (not original) are easily available on Bolo, but cannot say that for Quip 360 generic compatible brush heads. Overall, this is a good toothbrush but I find it expensive, particularly due to the limited brush heads.
5.0 out of 5 stars Well designed and effective toothbrush
I wanted to switch to an Oscillating toothbrush from a sonic one after reading some studies that indicated the oscillating brushes may be a bit more effective. This one from Quip is very nice. You can tell a lot of effort was put into the design of this product. I like the magnetic charging, multiple storage options, and the toothbrush itself works very well. I also like that the bristles are soft, and that refills are readily available and easy to purchase. It only has a 30 day battery life, but charging it is super hassle free. The pressure sensor is also very nice as I'm someone who tends to push a bit hard on my toothbrush. Overall I see myself using this brush for a long time!
4.0 out of 5 stars Oscillating Toothbrush
Finally Quip jumped on the market of oscillating toothbrushes. I tested the original version of the Quip and I found it to be sub par in cleaning. The new quip has many benefits compared to its old vibrating counterpart, however; it is still an inferior product to other electric toothbrushes out there. This product operates off of the same principles as oral b. It uses oscillating bristles to clean the teeth, typically one by one. It has a pressure sensor and a timer which allows you to brush correctly. It also has app connectivity (I didn't personally try this). It has three different speeds: deep, daily, and gentle.I stained my teeth with disclosing solution to test this product. I still had a good amount of plaque in between my teeth brushing with correct pressure and time. It's not the worst product I've tried but certainly not the best. The best oscillating toothbrush I tried was the Oral B iO series, and it's cheaper. If this was budget friendly my review would reflect that.
5.0 out of 5 stars Easy little electric toothbrush
I am impressed with this toothbrush. It comes packaged with everything to get started using it; toothbrush, holder, magnetic mirror holder, replacement head, travel case and charging cable. After charging it up, I tested it out. It has 3 different vibration levels, gentle and daily clean are my favorite, the deep clean feels very intense to me, but may get better once I get used to it.It has a timer that buzzes once every 30 seconds, so you can spend 2 minutes brushing while getting all 4 quadrants of your mouth equally. It is a little different to get used to not brushing myself, but letting the circular motions of the brush do the work. The toothbrush also alerts if you are applying too much pressure, so that is helpful as I get used to it.The replacement heads are available on Bolo as well, they are a little pricey in my opinion, but a pack of 4 lasts the year, so I guess it's not too bad.
1.0 out of 5 stars A waste of money!
I can't get it to charge. It blinks yellow for less than a minute and then quits charging.
3.0 out of 5 stars Soft bristle toothbrush
If I can get pass the fact that the brush heads are soft bristles, I'll come back and update this review. I prefer a medium toothbrush.
