I bought this since I haven't done an advent calendar in years, and it's adorable! I can't wait to try the products this one holds. The company always has stuff that never breaks me out, and fits my skin tone- something American beauty products never do.

Ever since my daughter was little I have got a different Advent calendar for her every year. She absolutely loves getting to open a new small gift every day leading up to Christmas. Now that she is a little older she has begun to get different tastes. So when I saw that this was a makeup advent calendar I had to get it for her. I know it's not Christmas just yet but I had to peek haha. To be honest I wasn't expecting a lot because frankly, it isn't a very expensive item. But I have to say I was quite surprised in a good way. The makeup is actually really nice quality and they give you a generous amount. I like that they even include nail strips to give you more of a variety than just your regular makeup products. I would say that if you were to buy all of these items individually you would definitely pay a great deal more than you do for this calendar. The calendar itself is a super cute design. I love that it's a house that folds in half and you open the bow and it comes open to display all your little boxes. If you have never gotten an Advent calendar give this one a try. They are so much fun!

I was actually shocked to see the few reviews already posted on this are 5 stars but I have come to the conclusion they have not actually opened the calander and looked at the items or they would have scored much lower. First of all. I love makeup advent calendars. I most love the surprise so seeing everything in the product page and also on the back of the box spoils the fun. They could have put an insert in with the items and ingredients inside the box and in the product description put what’s inside but not in the photos. Secondly when opening this calendar I had to be very careful opening each door because there was no adhesive between the slots and when you pull one open it pulls on the whole front piece and easily will expose everything inside. This calendar has 24 days and each day it is a makeup item (with the exception of a couple nail items and a barrette). The quality of the makeup is very low and when opening the first couple days is eyeliner then the next lipstick and then shadow and so on. The lipstick colors were all almost identical and they were like cement on my lips. Allergies nof the makeup was the quality level of one dollar store makeup and the barrette was atrocious. The biggest letdown was the 24th slot. This is usually the best item in the set being it’s Christmas Eve but in this set it was a cheap red lipstick tube. Such a bummer. The only things I did not throw away were two glitter single shadows, some nail polish wraps, two Christmas tree makeup sponges. That’s it. Definitely not worth $30. Overall I would say this is a calendar that I would advise you skip. It might be ok for a child under 13 but you could get better stuff at dollar tree for less. Skip this one and pay a little more for a better quality set.

I really like this set to give as a nice Christmas gift for a preteen or teenager. It comes with 24 different items that you open to reveal individually. On the back of the advent calendar it does reveal what the items are, but that is because the ingredients in each item needs to be listed. A couple of cons to consider is that this is made in China, and some of the ingredients may not be the best. So if you have concerns about that, then you might want to pass on this. Since this is for my daughter, I am able to pick and choose which items I feel comfortable allowing her to have. Overall a very nice gift!

This is a good selection of full-size items, maybe some trial mascara although I don’t mind it being smaller. I never finish one before it’s gone bad. Lots of different choices while packaged fun to open.

My teen daughter always complains when she gets bubble bath or lotion for Christmas. This is the perfect alternative. It comes with all kinds of makeup and it's perfect for a starter set that she can use as trial and error as she learns what works best for her. It comes in a cute package too.
