I'm in love with this serum and, most importantly, my skin agrees with it. It has everything: vitamins, antioxidants, moisturizers, peptides, ceramides, plant extracts, and ferulic acid. There are minimal fillers (stabilizers, solvents, and such) and no harsh chemicals in the ingredients. It absorbs well and leaves the skin soft.I have sensitive skin which reacts to a lot of skincare products, including some absurdly expensive brands, and I often DIY with basic ingredients to avoid irritants, but I have had some luck with Korean skincare lately as it seems to be better formulated. This serum is one of my favorite products as it's very gentle and does not irritate my skin or cause breakouts. My skin looks amazing when I use it and feels soft and smooth all day. I haven't used it long enough to fully experience the benefits of the tripeptide complex (it can take 6-8 weeks to see visible results) but I will update down the line. Since I'm at a time of my life when signs of aging develop quickly, it's important to me to use products that contains the ingredients known to fight these signs, so I'm pretty excited to be using a product that has recognized antiaging ingredients but also moisturizing and toning ones for even clear skin.I should also note that this serum does not contain vitamin C (it's easy to assume due to orange color of the bottle) but it does contain ferulic acid. Personally, it prefer this setup since ascorbic acid oxidizes very quickly, so it's safer and more cost-efficient to add shelf-stable vitamin C to the product during application than having to throw the serum away long before it's finished, and ferulic acid aids in effectiveness. Also, it allows me the flexibility of using it for day or evening routine without worrying about sun exposure.In summary, this serum is a fantastic find for me as it hits a lot of bullet points in my skincare goals and it agrees with my sensitive mature skin. I can't find any negatives and highly recommend it.

This is most definitely a new favorite serum of mine. It’s loaded with ingredients I gravitate towards for my mature skin. At 50, I need products that target moisture loss, uneven skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles, and rough texture.This serum has niacinamide for brightening and clearing skin, peptides for increasing collagen production, hyaluronic acids and beta-glucan for superior moisture retention, astaxanthin for protecting, tranexamic acid and thuja orientalis leaf extract for additional brightening, and other ingredients good for protecting the skin barrier and soothing.I love the clear bottle with the little round capsules. There is no added fragrance which is a bonus since I can be sensitive to scented facial products.It glides on nicely and at about the 30-second mark, starts to really soak in. Because there are so many good barrier-protecting ingredients in it, it does leave my skin a little sticky. I apply a ceramide cream over top to seal everything in.While true results will take several weeks to see, my skin has been very happy with this serum. In the short time I’ve been using it I’ve noticed clearer, brighter skin. It also plays well with my other products.The price is unbeatable for a serum of its kind. I’ve seen others with the same ingredients that are four times as much.This is definitely one to try.Highly recommended!

This is the second brand of serum I have tried that contains Glutathione, so I am pretty sure at this point that it's not a good ingredient for my very oily, yet old skin. In both cases, the serum was pretty wet and when it dried down it did not feel pleasant to me. It felt like I was left with a barrier on top that's hard to describe, but something like thin plastic wrap, and as if it was trapping heat. It did prevent my pores from exuding excess sebum, but not in a good way, more like it clogged them up. A few hours after applying it I wanted to wash it off my face. It could be the effect of one of the several other ingredients in this serum, but I suspect the Glutathione, which is supposed to be moisturizing. Perhaps it or another ingredient is doing that with a barrier to prevent moisture from leaving the skin. I don't know.It seems like Glutathione is now often being combined with ingredients I know are definitely helpful for my oily skin, like niacinimide and cerimide, but they and the Glutathione seem to be working at cross purposes on my skin. Because Glutathione is supposed to be helpful for evening out skin tone, I wanted it to work on my age spots, but I won't continue using it long enough to see if it does.This serum may be right for you, so I only took off one star because it's not for everyone, despite the vendor claim "Skin Type for All, Oily, Combination, Sensitive, Dry, Oily Acne Prone." In my experience, one size fits all is seldom accurate.

After using the marine astaxanthin serum from sungboon, what I noticed was that my skin looked less dull and more hydrated/moist. The serum itself isn't thick, but it does create a barrier so it might feel thick after applying it onto the skin. That said, I thought the serum was relatively fast absorbing. The only thing I would recommend is allowing the skin to fully dry so the tackiness feeling isn't as evident. I didn't think the serum had any smell and it was gentle on my skin. What I do like is the feeling of a hydration barrier that the serum left on my skin after it was fully absorbed and dried. My skin didn't feel heavy afterwards and instead, my skin felt soft. While the bottle isn't super big, I think just one pump would have been enough to cover my entire face. For the price point, I'd get this again.

This serum goes on smooth and absorbs well into my skin. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and leaves my face feeling smooth and moisturized.
2.0 out of 5 stars Doesn’t whiten dark spots
This serum claims to lighten dark spots. I’ve been using this twice a day for a few weeks on a dark spot and it hasn’t done anything. I took a before picture to compare, and the spot hasn’t changed. The serum is thick and a little sticky. It spreads easily. It makes my skin look and feel dry after I use it.
