Got this for my daughter's craft desk. She needed a timer for drying times (resin, glue, etc.), and I appreciated that this one had a clock option. We already had an office wall clock, but neither of us ever remember to look up at it. Having a small desk clock in line of sight helps a ton. This one also has multiple timer options, so she can pre-set her commonly used timer settings and just keep them as dedicated channels.As far as a direct comparison to our other timers, this one is probably my second favorite. The fact that it has a clock and 5 separate timers ... really cannot beat that. It's also got variable volume settings, and the loudest is loud enough to be heard through the closed office door from the kitchen, so we can know that her project is done or needs attention. It has separate buttons for hour, minute, and second, and a memory setting.The only real thing that bothers me is that it does not beep or "click" when you press the buttons, and the buttons are soft touch, so I'm not really sure if my press "took" or not. I prefer my favorite kitchen timer because I have audible conformation that the button pressed. If this one had that feature, I might well have been tempted to steal it from her, but as it is, I'll let her keep this one in the office and I'll stick to my old reliable in the kitchen.

I have an older wind-up kitchen timer that I wanted to replace for a digital model. I figured a digital timer is more modern and I can see exactly how long I am setting the timer for. That is exactly what I got with this timer so I'm happy about that. What I also like about this model is that I can set the timer for 5 different times. It's not unusual to have two or three items in the oven at the same time. In the past I would use my wind up timer, the timer on my phone and watch the time on a clock. Now, I can use one product to keep the time on each item in the oven or stove. I set the timers on this model to the timer on my phone and they both went off at the exact same time so I know this model keeps accurate time. With the old wind up timer it was an approximate time; close but not exact.The only downside (and the reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5) is because setting the different timers took a few times to get it down right. I followed the instructions but even after the timers went off I still had some time come up again. I finally figured which button to press in the correct order to get them to all turn off. I know the more I use it the easier it will become, but I would have preferred to have each timer operate independent of the others and clear when it was finished.The bottom line - it keeps time, I can keep in a kitchen drawer with other hand held kitchen pieces or hang it on my fridge with the magnets on the back (I haven't decided which yet but right now it's in the drawer when not in use), it's small enough to not take up a lot of room but with larger enough numbers with a good contrast which makes it easy to see, the sound it makes when a timer is finished is loud enough to be easily heard (and the sound level is adjustable), and it's very competitively priced. I recommend this timer.

This is pretty useful. It can run 5 timers or countdowns simultaneously and it's very easy to set. Big easy-to-read display, easy switch-top button for each of those timers or countdowns, easy to switch to set each one to either a timer or countdown, you can set each one to a pre-set countdown amount, big start/stop button on the side. The unit has a kickstand you can use, or magnets to hold it up but the magnets are a bit weak. It will hold up on my fridge, but it slides a bit when I first attach it because these magnets are barely strong enough.

This timer looks intimidating with all the buttons but most of them are just timer selection, hour, and minute buttons. Having the ability to run several timers off the same alarm is very convenient. The only issue I have with it, and the reason for only 4 stars, is that it doesn't have an off button to conserve battery. I realize it probably will run for months if on all the time, but I'd still like it to run several times that long by turning it off without having to remove the batteries.

This is a handy clock / timer, especially if you do a lot of oven stuff. The wife can set the time, and it's small enough to carry it around with her. I don't have to shout and tell her that something is beeping anymore!! Won't have anything to say to each other now :D. Seriously, this is a great alternative to the built in timers on the oven/microwave. Easy to set, nice large display and an alarm that's easy to hear. I'm going to get my daughter one!
