As a shoe lover, I was literally running out of closet space, so I needed something that could store my shoes in their boxes/bags, as I’m particular about how they’re stored. This shoe storage bench has been the perfect solution!What I loved about this item:* The flat shelves (not the flip-down type with slots) are perfect for keeping shoe boxes.* It’s deep enough to easily fit 15 shoe boxes in the space with the sliding door.* The design is sleek and can complement just about any room in the house.* I really appreciate the bench feature—it’s a convenient spot to sit down and put on my shoes.Cons:* The instructions were a bit confusing, and I ended up having to unscrew the side of the cabinet twice to put pieces in that should have gone in earlier, even though the instructions said otherwise. This meant I had to re-screw some parts, which caused one of the screws to strip.* Three of the twist cams broke with minimal pressure (though they did provide one extra), but I was still short two cams in the end. I noticed other reviewers mentioned similar issues.Overall, despite the minor frustrations during assembly, I’m thrilled with the result. My shoes are now neatly organized and in their boxes/bags inside the cabinet, and all my shoe cleaning supplies are stored in the bench. I’m so pleased with this purchase that I’m already looking for companion pieces! Definitely worth the money.

This is really nice. I was able to put it together with my wife handing me pieces in about an hour and a half. The directions are pretty clear and it seems well built. Drawbacks are the shelves are not as moveable as I would like. The holes to place the pins to hold the shelves to not extend along the entire sides only in sections, therefore if you have more boots or taller shoes you have to get creative with it. Lastly, one of the screw locks broke but they had extras. I am pleased for the price but more shelf options would have been five stars.

It was fairly easy to assemble! Did it myself in like an hour and a half. I would have loved that the bench was movable from one side or the other, but honestly it looks good either way. Kitty approves it too!

While building it, the board was too heavy and broke on the screws. Not worth the money.

This is the perfect addition next to the front door to store our shoes! Wish it had two doors! Hate that the front is always somewhat open. But otherwise very happy

Like others have said one of the cams broke, but I definitely struggled the most with putting the back slats on. There was probably a better way to do it, I did my best and I think it turned out pretty good. The box is very heavy so you'll want a buddy to help with that, but it's a sturdy end piece if furniture. A bit awkward to move around though.

This is a very sturdy good looking cabinet and is actually quite heavy. It is very well made. Please see my pictures to see a partial parts layout and a close up of how laser sharp the cuts are.Assembling this is not easy! I did it myself but it would have gone much smoother with two people. Some parts were very challenging even though it was simple enough to understand what needed to be done. The instructions were included and were well done.One big problem I had was with the smaller cam locks. No less than 6 of them broke in the process of putting this cabinet together. Part of the problem is that once you screw in the head the cam lock attaches to, some of them didn't stick out far enough and I had to disassemble and loosen them to get them to stick out far enough for the cam lock to attach to them.I contacted the vendor about getting replacements for the broken cam locks so that I could finish the assembly. He was very nice but told me they couldn't send them to me. He offered, instead, to reimburse me for my costs to purchase the cam locks myself at a local store or online. I ended up buying them via Bolo and would recommend getting them in advance in case you plan on getting this item because there is a strong chance you'll need them.This is the description of the cam locks I got as replacements and they all worked fine and I was able to finish the project: HARFINGTON Cam Lock Nut for Furniture, 8pcs 12x10mm Joint Connector Locking Nuts Furniture Connecting Cam Fittings.
