Purchased this as a gift for my daughter for Christmas. The quality of the videos she is shooting on her skateboard are amazing. We have had so much fun experimenting with the the different filming modes- wish the directions were a bit more detailed but with some time and patience we are getting the hang of it.

The camera mount is not connecting with the camera and loses its charge in less than an hour. I have tried repeatedly to make the camera respond to it, but to no avail. The camera does not respond to the mount, which connects to the camera via a cable. Additionally, the camera’s image quality is poor, especially in low-light scenes. I paid a lot of money to get high-quality footage, but it has been disappointing with this camera. Therefore, I will return it and purchase a product from another company.

I purchased this item to record my outdoor workouts for YouTube. I like that this package offers the additional mounts, a hard shell carry case, enhanced mic, mounted LED light (which gets pretty bright), a magnetic mount, and the Volta mount. I wish it came with one of the new lenses, but perhaps that's too costly for GoPro.The Volta mount is awesome. My workouts are about an hour long, and I record with all maximum settings enabled (5.3k resolution, HDR, etc...) and it only uses 1/3 the Volta battery. I do wish the Volta extended a little bit, but this is not a review of the Volta itself.The GoPro Hero 13 is a great action camera. I'm not an expert with all the settings, but it is easy to use and records high quality video.The major benefit is I can record my workouts with the GoPro instead of my phone, preserving my phone's battery life and having the ability to listen to content while working out.The downside of using the GoPro over recording via a phone is the added steps to the workflow needed to create a video. When I recorded my videos on my phone, I could record as long as I wanted and it would be a single uninterrupted clip. This is not possible on a GoPro (at least from what I've been able to find online). The GoPro can only record 4k content in 30 min intervals, requiring me to use iMove, Quik (which is going away soon), or another video editor, to stitch the clips together and export as a single file to watch or upload. If you don't mind the added steps, the GoPro could be a great solution for you.

This all-in-one package includes everything needed to capture stunning footage—4K video quality, built-in stabilization, and enhanced low-light performance are simply phenomenal. The Media Mod, Light Mod, and Volta grip (battery grip with remote) make it so much easier to shoot professional-quality vlogs, time-lapses, and cinematic clips. The battery life is fantastic with the Volta, and the compact setup is perfect for travel and outdoor adventures. If you’re serious about content creation, this kit is worth every penny. Highly recommend for beginners and pros alike!

Camera would not recognize Media
When I entered the media card that was brand new and and tested in another camera it keep giving a media error.Got onto gopro direct and they expected me to be a computer expert and asked me to update, reformat and change all this stuff on the camera. This was a brand new camera and was a dud and the entire exercise was extremely stressful. But the worst part was when the guys I was chatting with just up and ended the chat before any thing was ratified. Extremely poor service from them and an expensive camera that was crap. I was that frustrated with them and the camera I collected all the accessoriesand the camera and threw it all in a junk draw and have not looked at it since. Thinking I purchased a good camera I threw all the packaging away so I don't have it to send the junk back.
