    Ok, I'm not sure what I was expecting for this price point, but somehow, I thought the handheld game wouldn't feel quite so . . . . hmmm . . . lightweight plasticky? I plan to use this for grandkids who have to take long trips by car and get bored. I don't actually like encouraging video game types of things, but hey, in a car for hours? My kids listened to audiobooks, etc, or just played endless games of tic tac toe, but I think the grandkids will appreciate a break from that. They can always take turns and have a set amount of time for it. I think it definitely will develop hand to eye coordination, fast response time, and what is called "speed of processing" in their brains. (Come to think of it, that speed of processing ability is supposed to prevent dementia. Maybe the kids aren't going to be using this after all. Grandmas might need it more.)But Grandmas will likely use it on silent mode (thankfully there IS a silent mode). The songs will probably either appeal to kids or they will just ignore them, as kids have a talent for that. Grown-ups, not so much. If it drives you crazy, just tell the kids that in order to be allowed to play, the game has to stay on silent mode. No, it won't hurt them. I promise.All in all, if you are looking for a harmless game that has flashing lights and trains memory in a fun way, I think this is a good choice.

    The media could not be loaded. I'm sure this device has several games, but I was stuck on the one that reminded me of Simon back in the day.The arrows light up across the board and you've gotta click on them while fun upbeat music plays in the background.It takes AAA batteries, lots of entertainment when you need a little break.
