This craft kit is super cute and easy for even younger kids to do with minimal supervision. My 7 year old daughter loved it and is begging for another already. The wood disks are smooth and well cut with no splintering or shedding of the bark. It's easy to paint on them. The glow in the dark paints are neat and look especially nice if you can shine a blacklight on them before turning out the lights.

Glow in the dark stuff is always great during spooky season. My son wanted to make some fun Halloween items to put outside our house for kids to see and he loved this set. Paint is thick and not watered down. Easy to use and be creative with for the kiddos.

This is a nice set for artistic and creative fun. It has a variety of wooden circles, paint, string, beads, markers, etc. All are held in a sturdy case for travel and storage.

My daughter loves arts and crafts so I am always on the lookout for activities she might enjoy. This set was perfect for this summer. It has kept her busy with multiple crafts and I love that the variety of items. She especially loved the wood slices, paint and diamonds. She’s expanded to painting rocks and leaves she’s found around the yard so its been great to see how much this set has encouraged her creativity. The only thing I did notice was the glow in the dark paints weren’t included in our set but everything else was there.

Round cedar pieces, 10 that are roughly 3.5"X4" and 2 that are slightly bigger. This kit has so much inside! There's colored twine, 10 different colors of painting diamonds - 2,000 in all, 2 paint brushes, 12 small cups of different colored paint, 4 glow-in-the-dark paints, 20 wiggle eyes of different sizes, colored butterfly ornaments, 10 different, plain, cut-out ornaments of various objects that you paint and more. This is a party box that will keep a group of children busy for an afternoon or several hours or depending on the number of children, this box could last for a couple of months. I really like how these items are organized into a large storage box. If you have young children I would definitely have close supervision as many included are small, in general I think this box of DIY projects are geared more for ages 4-11. My enjoyment is watching imaginations come to life as each individual and different things that are made from all that's included!

I actually started out with a $10 paint kit that was very similar to this one. It had one set of paints that had similar containers that were half the size of these paint containers. Plus, with this kit, I have two sets of paints. There are two paintbrushes with each set of paints. This can easily allow more than one person to work at a time.The diamonds, for the diamond art painting, are already separated according to color, and placed in the divided box. The box has been been shrink-wrapped closed. In the $10 set, I still needed to separate the colors, and put them in the box.The $10 kit had 4 tiny tubes of glue. It was not nearly enough glue. I’m happy to see that this $20 kit, has one large glue bottle.The instructions were better in the $10 set, then what this $20 set has. However, if you know what you’re doing, you don’t really need the instructions.Compared to the $10 set, the less expensive set had more glitter paints and more glow-in-the-dark paint sticks. So I guess the ultimate thing that will help you decide how much to spend is what type of painting you actually want to do, and how much paint do you actually need?My kids absolutely love to paint with paint brushes and paint. The less expensive set did not have nearly enough paint, or glue. This $20 set still has a good variety, and appears to me, to be better quality.I am able to get all of the unused art supplies back into the container, each time we are done using them.As the final thought, I have one child who is super imaginative and creative. He loves to come up with his own designs. I have another child who has some learning disabilities, and art is not his strong area. Even though he loves to paint, he spends much time, trying to figure out what to paint. He would actually prefer to copy a bunch of sample art projects, instead of coming up with his own. This kit lacks examples of completed art projects, that a child could be copy.
