Just looking at the hair dryer in the advertisement, I thought it was going to be much smaller than it actually is. But, after opening the box, I was like "wow" this is a really nice dryer. It is not too small or too large. I am very impressed with the sleek design and its quality.The shape makes it easy to store and even take on travel. If you prefer one of the attachments over the other, you can leave the ones you won't be using behind when you go out of town.It also comes with a nice filter that allows you to clear out the device to keep it clean. This is definitely a plus for me.When I used this dryer to do my hair this morning, I could not believe how quickly it got the job done. I'm very satisfied with this product. You can choose cold or hot temperatures and can adjust each setting to give you cooler or hotter temps. It is probably one of the best handheld dryers I've ever had because the attachments are sturdy, and they twist and lock into place. They are not too bulky like my old hair dryer.After looking at the instruction manual, which is very well illustrated by the way, I noticed that there are other attachments in some of the instructions. When I went online to their website, I noticed that you can buy all of the attachments separately, so if one of them breaks you can at least get it replaced. I saw a diffuser attachment and think I'm going to purchase that one because I am confident that it will work very well styling my hair with this dryer.

The media could not be loaded. I've always wanted a good blow dryer and finally have one! My daughter and I have super thick hair that normally takes forever to dry! This blow dryer can dry our hair in about 3 to 5 minutes. The speed of the air flow is amazing! However, it is a bit loud as you can kind of hear in the video I posted. So, if you have sensitive ears this may not be the dryer for you. It causes my Apple Watch loud sound alert to trigger. The dryer has 3 speeds and 3 heat levels as well as cool. The attachments seem to work well and I especially like the smoothing frizz fighter tool because I can get it close to my scalp to smooth down my fly away hairs that my flat iron can't reach. It took me a minute to figure out how to use that tool properly...all you do is kind of just rest it towards your scalp/hair and pull down as your hair kind of pulls up into the tool making it smooth. You also need to know the attachment has a push button on the side so you can turn the attachment to whatever position you need. I am so very happy with how fast I can dry my hair now with also the peace of mind that it is not damaging my hair. Highly recommend!

PROS:+a brand name (as opposed to generic dupes) means that you have a reliable website that you can expect to still be up and running and relevant for a while.+shark offers a few more attachments on their website.+works as advertised.+on the low cycle it's actually pretty quiet in comparison to other dryers on the market - but once you go to the more powerful cycles its all too similar.CONS:-No storage. The box is pretty sturdy but it's not set up to be reused as storage - lots of cardboard bits to be tossed instead of foam inserts that could presumably be used to keep your machine tucked away safe and tidy. At this price point (currently $200) I feel like they could throw in a storage case.-No diffuser. I've just come to expect a diffuser to be one of the default attachments.-No magnetic attachments BUT the snap on attachments are pretty secure and I like that there is a release button when you're ready to remove the attachment.-Seems a lot less intuitive probably because Shark wanted to add as many bells and whistles and buttons as possible. Maybe more than necessary but you're paying up so I suppose extra is good. I kind of think some of it is superfluous but if bells and whistles is what you want, bells and whistles is what you get. You'll definitely need to whip out the manual to figure some stuff out. Even comes with qrc stickers so you can watch videos.OVERALL: if you're interested in bells and whistles and collecting more attachments, this is a good bet for you. If you're just looking for a basic hair dryer, you can save yourself a significant amount of money and get a dupe. I'm not a brand snob so I'm not convinced brand names are worth their markup - there are lots of decent dryers on the market for much less. But the brand names are pretty useful if you're really interested in collecting pieces or trying out new whistles because they do have staying power. You can be certain the shark website will still be up and running in a year or so. This is a well made dryer - kind of a bit extra for my taste but I have simple needs and I like getting the job done quickly. To its credit, this machine does that too.

I am a huge fan of the SharkNinja company because the Shark products I've purchased perform so well and last so long. I was excited to be able to try this Shark SpeedStyle Pro after trying several copycat hairdryers through the Vine program. This hairdryer is by far the highest quality one I've tried and I expect it to last a decade or more like my other Shark products. I love the flexible design of this hair dryer because I can always find a comfortable way to hold it, even with an injured wrist. I also am impressed by the power of the airflow which allows me to dry my hair in only a few minutes. The attachments help to keep my hair looking smooth and frizz-free and the scalp shield really does work. Normally if I want my hair to look sleek and have a high level of shine, I have to first dry it with a hair dryer and then use a flat iron to straighten it, but this worked in one step.
