Package extremely well. Functions as it should. Only issues I’ve experienced where really on me
4.0 out of 5 stars Fast and reliable
So far I have had this printer for a little while, I don't feel like I have put it through all of its tests at this point. Right now I feel like it is a very fast and reliable printer and I have not come across many failures that are not user error. I would say this is just a step below the A1. I really appreciate that it also comes with a dryer that is working all the time, so issues with failed prints and humidity are at a minimum. I do find this machine a bit on the noisier side especially when Ace is activated while Heating. I appreciate the screen included with the machine as well. I'm not a huge fan of the slicer itself, but I have a tendency to use lychee for a lot of my projects and I'm more familiar with it.
2.0 out of 5 stars Questionable reliability
The product was very clunky and unreliable. Wifi often steuggled to connect, and often had poor bed adhesion. I had neptune 4 before and it printed more reliably than this.
5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent first 3d printer. Most of the bells and whistles at an affordable price
The media could not be loaded. Today I'm reviewing the Anycubic Kobra 3 combo kit,The thing I like best about this kit is that I was able to have my first print off the machine about 1 hour after I unboxed the printer. Assembly wasn't too difficult except for the screws to connect the print head to the gantry, that was a frustrating few minutes of dropping screws on the floor. This was for the kit which included the Ace pro 4 spool holder/dryer. It is a little disappointing that they didn't include a nice filament sampler or starter spools, but that was well explained on the listing, so I had ordered some filament with this kit.My first print was the fast benchy boat that was stored on the printer. It came off in less than 15 minutes but was not the 'cleanest' print. After printing about 50 hours of prints I did the fast benchy again with different filament that was dried in the Ace pro and the quality was much improved. For a final comparison I printed the slow benchy stored on the printer that took a little under an hour and there was a noticeable improvement in the output quality.I have run into some hiccups with this kit but was able to find answers and solutions quickly from the manufacture's website.I'm new to 3d printing and this has been an easy introduction to the hobby, and I feel this printer will stay with me for several years. In my opinion this is a good value for the money. I really like how this can automatically switch between up to four filaments out of the box. I believe you can connect a second Ace pro to support up to 8 colors, but I have not done that. This does not come with a camera and Anycubic sells one for about $15, which makes it a bit disappointing they didn't just include it in this kit. I was able to use a Logitech webcam which worked without effort but MUST be plugged into the left USB port. When I plugged into the right-side port the printer couldn't use it and then also lost the connection to the Ace pro. There are some questionable design choices of port placements and cable paths, but this has been a reliable printer so far.I'm rating this printer five out of five stars.Pros- Included the 4-filament drying enclosure- Quick assembly, first print about an hour after unboxing.- Easy operation. Can print and monitor from phone appCons- Screw placement connecting print head is frustrating- Port placements seem non-optimally placed- No included camera or filament- You NEED a filament purge deflector, should be your 1st or 2nd print- After drying filament, bed adhesion suffered. A light coat of glue stick did the trick
