This sock monitor device can literally be a lifesaver. The package comes with two sock sizes medium and large, both which are very soft and comfortable, The Bluetooth connect device and a charging cable. The cable attaches to the Bluetooth device that wraps around the leg. The heart rate can be seen visually on the actual Bluetooth monitor. All other data gets pushed to the app on the phone. The app is ViHealth and is free to use with the basic plan. The basic "free" app plan shows spo2 which is your oxygen amount, heart rate , and activity. This monitor is very sensitive with activity, so any wiggle of the foot will trigger movement. Also, monitor appears to be accurate. You can set your vital sign thresholds such as when an alarm will sound when heart rate is too low or too high. Alarm is loud and distinct. Although some may not want to purchase this device for $150, I personally think it is an expense that should be placed upon other items. For a medical device, it is actually very affordable. A few years ago these were over $1000. As a mother and a nurse, I know the importance of regular vital sign monitoring especially with newborns. Multiple monitors can be added on your Vihealth app, it can also connect to other third-party apps like Google health fit, in a premium access can be purchased for monitoring sleep cycles such as rem.

This item is fantastic! It seems to be reliable, and everything about it is great. It can be a little scary at first, seeing their heart rate suddenly go up when something startles them, but you get used to what is normal quickly. It has alarms you can set once you figure out their baselines, and this is just really, really well thought out and set up. Whoever made this was definitely a parent.

This thing is amazing! So happy with all the features! The base is 100% worth it! Also the reason I went with this one is because no Wifi is needed to use! Once you download the app and it connects to the base, you can set the alarms to go off when you want, such as the oxygen level range, pulse, and even an alarm for if the sock disconnects from the base! The alarm is loud enough on all the way up if right by your bed (they could make it louder for the deep sleeper). The sock thing is a bit bulky but seems to work just fine!! Battery lasts all night (I do just keep the base plugged in). Overall very happy with this purchase especially at half the price of an owlet! The one thing I think would be neat if they added in the future is a feature that alerts if baby has abnormal temperature.Side note: It does read abnormal for like a minute or something after you first put it on so you do have to give it time to figure it out!

This is very similar to the owlet but at a cheaper cost. I like the features that it provides and everything was pretty simple to set up. I’ve only been using it for a few days with my newborn and although i’m not using it all of the time, it does provide a sense of relief. The battery lasts a good while, good connectivity. I’d recommend this if you’re on a budget but want that extra cushion to know your baby’s stats, etc. It doesn’t seem to bother my baby either, which is good. The app is easy to understand. It comes with 3 sock sizes - small, medium, and large so it can be used up to 30lbs which is awesome.

Okay, so I used the owlet for my 2 daughters. When a friend was having a baby I wanted to give her the peace of mind I got while using my owlet. But mine was so worn and old. I actually came across this one and it looked like a good alternative. So far (only a few days) I’m liking this better than my owlet! Why? Okay so the extra leg piece it seems as though it would be annoying or in the way right? Nope!!! Let me tell you when it’s pitch black in the room, and you and you can’t find you phone you can still see the babies stats right there - genius!!! I was always on my owlet app checking so having a visual on the baby is amazing. Quality is fantastic literally the only difference between this and owlet is the genius little display, the sock, the app all the rest is just as good as owlet. I love it. If I have anymore kids I will be getting another babytone.

Super easy set up, cheaper alternative to the owlet. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the app was to install and set up and use - even easier than my owlet which I often struggle to get connected to the wifi. This is easy to use and provides you with multiple socks for growing sizes!

This baby sleep sock is an incredible gadget, and it really helps moms relax and help monitor baby. With just an app on your phone it monitors baby's oxygen levels, heart rate and movement. It literally keeps an eye on baby whilst they sleep, allowing mom to get some much-needed rest and sleep too, without having to check baby every 5 minutes. The sock itself is super soft, and this can track baby right up to 36 months old (3 years!) The app also stores baby's history so if baby became sick and you have to take them to a doctor, this information could be really useful for them to know. The baby sock provides really important information which you would not know without it. No Wi-Fi needed, just Bluetooth which is a fantastic feature. It is great that it does not rely on Wi-Fi to monitor baby. This really is amazing, and I would recommend all moms having this for every newborn. Definitely worth the money and the peace of mind that you get being able to see baby's vital statistics on your phone.
