It always seems there are leftovers and food preparations that need to be stored for future use at my home. While I try hard not to waste, I find that it's not always simple unless you have the right containers to store things as need. Which is why I was excited to try the food storage containers as the different sizes are helpful and can be stacked to save space.Looking at the different size containers in the kit, the first thing I noticed is how durable the containers are. The bases are strong and won't bend as you pack them full of food. I also noticed how easy it was to seal the lid on top, making the contents safely inside and air tight. It's also possible to write on the containers so you can identify the food and the time it was prepared or put in the refrigerator. Which brings me to the different sizes offered in this pack. At first I thought this would be too many for our family needs but what I've found is the convenience of the sizes allows you to save food, pack food away and it's an additional freedom to make sure there can be healthy snacks and simple items family members can grab and go. I've been packing apple slices, carrot sticks and other healthy choices for the family so they can grab the precut pieces from the containers in the refrigerator to enjoy when they are hungry. I'd definitely recommend as this is a reasonable price point for a large number of pieces.

With having kids and cooking a lot of meals at home, we use food storage containers a lot, to the point that we've broken our share of containers just through constant use. This set is a little bit lighter and less substantial than the set that we purchased at a warehouse store but the lids lock well and are leak proof. The light weight is actually kind of nice in letting our kids grab and carry them around.You get a large selection of containers with this set, but a lot of them are one off sizes so the lid only works on that size, which makes it harder to grab the correct lid when you're in a hurry. I would have liked to have multiples of each size so lids could be interchanged but I think they wanted to save on shipping size by nesting the containers. They also include 4 tiny sauce containers that make up 8 of the 50 pieces which is always a little annoying to see. At the current price point ($40 with a 50% off coupon) they make a nice value for a complete storage set.

Food Storage Containers are a valuable part of any kitchen. With 25 Containers and 25 Lids, these Food Storage Containers provide plenty of storage space. There are three different sizes to make use of the available space in the refrigerator or cabinet. They are microwave safe, refrigerator safe and dishwasher save. With 4 latches and silicone seals, the containers become airtight and leakproof. Black Labels are available with a Marking Pen to help identify the contents. This is an excellent way to store leftovers, meals, fruits and vegetables. With the airtight and leak proof features, these containers are a good choice for taking a lunch to school, travel or office.

The images are a bit deceptive as half of these containers are too small to be of much use other than storing a serving of salad dressing, a couple of olives or some spice. The containers that are not too small are useful and seal well, but '50 pieces' is very different from '50 usable pieces.' Even with the current coupon, I'd hesitate to buy this set.

I really love this set of containers! They appear to be of very good quality, and I appreciate the variety of sizes included. I plan to use them to store my dry herbs and pasta, especially since I recently discovered drugstore beetles in my pasta. These containers should be effective in keeping those bugs away.
