Wow, I never knew how much I'd love this cutter. It's nice and heavy and it makes very clean cuts. It just feels great to use this cutter and it's surprisingly more accurate and easier to use than a hand held cutter. It cuts clean and with authority. It's a great addition that won't disappoint you.

This arrived in a package that looked like it had survived a plane crash. Thankfully, the cutter itself looked fine inside. The first time I depressed it, it popped up like a soap dispenser. However, unlike a soap dispenser, I have no idea how to lock it back down again. As far as I can tell, once it pops up, it stays up.Does it work well? Yes, it does. Each side has a different cutter. There's a v-cutter, a couple of different gauge guillotine cutters, and a small one made for torpedo cigars. No punch cutter, if that's your thing. There's a little twist off door underneath that is used to empty out all the nibs.One issue, though... Every other press seems to get stuck about 3/4 of the way down. Yes, you can just push a little harder and it goes all the way down, but it's annoying. And yes, it happens every second time you press it, like clockwork. Very strange, but true.I still think it's a really nice cigar cutter and it would be perfect for a cigar shop or a serious hobbyist. This isn't something you're likely to find while shopping at a store. It's definitely a specialty item and it shows. Yes, it's slightly flawed, but it could just be the one I received. Mine did arrive in a destroyed package, so maybe it was damaged. Who knows?

Pro'sWhen buying a table top cigar cutter, one of the biggest things it needs to get right is the weight. Without the weight, these feel terrible and work terrible and are destined for the garbage can. This I can happily say has the weight necessary for a good cut. It operates well and has a nice click to it. Looks good.Con'sWhen evaluating products, I take into account the value being represented with the value received and in this case the value received is not premium enough to justify the represented value without a steep discount that brings it more inline with comparable products. Once the price is aligned, then this is a good buy.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great attention piece to put on your desk for people to look at. Not only is it a good desk weight, but it actually works and cuts very well. For the price you can expect that it’s a functional cigar cutter, but I like how it has a turn knob at the bottom to get all the excess cuts out when it gets full. The one thing that does not work very well on this is closing it. You have to almost slam it down for it to stay down. I’ve also knows that the oil that keeps it lubricated Tends to fall out a lot. Otherwise, this is a very good desk weight.
