This is a terrific product and I want to clarify what you're getting. This is just lactobacillus acidophilus. There are no added fillers or binders, e.g., magnesium stearate, silica, stearic acid, or vegetable cellulose. I saw a comparison of this to the cost of Nature's Bounty's version which has all of those fillers added to their pills. A serving of a Nature's Bounty pill is 0.5mg (100 million) and a scoop of this powder is 1,000mg (100 billion). Nature's Bounty gives you 120 of those 0.5mg servings with added fillers, and Vitamatic gives you 100 servings of 1,000mg with no added fillers. So yes, it is more expensive, but you are paying for a significantly larger amount of product with zero added ingredients. There's really no comparison there. You do the math. I take a lot of Vitamatic powders and have had great results with them so they're a trusted brand for me. I prefer powders over capsules as I find the absorption is faster and better, but your mileage and preference may vary. Definitely do your own research and comparisons, but I would recommend this one!

I don’t know if others will experience anything like what I’ve experienced, everyone is different.Unraveling my own trouble sleeping has been a huge learning experience. And for me, it has a lot to do with food intolerances and my microbiome.I ordered this on a lark. I remember taking Acidolphilus when I was a child at the behest of my mother who followed Dr Spock‘s guide for healthy kids. She tried natural methods for most things as a front line defense. I do remember Acidolphilus helping me overcome thrush at some point when I was young. I remember liking taking it. So I thought, why not try it again?To my utter amazement, I have slept a full 7 hours straight after taking this, as directed, an hour after dinner. I put the serving size in water. It had no taste. I normally sleep 4 hours max, then wake up, and have to put myself back to sleep.Even if one has very different issues, this strain has been thoroughly tested and seems to offer a wide range of health benefits. And appears safe for most healthy people. I am so happy to have rediscovered this probiotic and will be ordering it again from Vitamatic when I run out. There are a lot of servings. The value is good.

I used to eat yogurt to get probiotics (good gut bacteria), but the cost of a daily yogurt was a bit high for my limited budget, so I stopped. However, I've always felt taking probiotics was good for me, so was looking for a more cost-effective way of getting a daily dose, and this may be it.I like that this powder has no other additives, fillers, or chemicals. The ingredients list has one item - the bacteria itself. You take it with a cup of water, 1-2 hours before eating. It doesn't add any taste to the water.It comes with a small measuring scoop that you have to dig out of the bag when you first open it. I'm not sure how I would measure 1gm without it, so it's good that it is included.

I readily admit as a Vine member I occasionally just do a cursory look at the price, which I did here, which I regret. The price for this product is $39 in September 2024. You get 100 servings.Nature's Bounty has the same supplement in pill form for 120 servings for 7.89. (made in USA). ASIN B0014CVXMW.I usually like to support small businesses but the cost is substantial here.

i like that this is a 3.5 month supply and i am capable of either putting this in a pill or mixing it with other things. there is no taste as far as i am concerned as i mixed this in with pudding but you can add yours to yogurt or whateber
