    A friend of mine has a motor for her manual pasta machine and it makes such a difference because it frees up both hands to manipulate the dough. The same applies here for knitting machines. Without needing to work the crank, both hands can focus on the yarn moving as it should. I haven't gotten a knitting machine yet (too many choices!), but will definitely use this when I do.The device itself looks sturdy and well made and will be such a help to us crafters.

    I’ve made a few scarves and hats with this so far and it’s working great! It’s easy to take on and off, which is important because even the slowest setting is still a little too fast for me to cast on. But after the first few rows I pop it on and it works like a charm. It still needs to be babysat so the tension stays correct, but it doesn’t put the strain on my wrist that hand cranking the whole time does.
