This book is such an easy read. Love the big colored beautiful pictures, the planting guidelines, harvesting info, storage and preservation info, the RECIPES, the TIPS, did I mention the big beautiful colored pictures?!! I've been gardening the past 4 years, so I know a little something, but this book is going to be incredibly useful! Pickling cucumbers tonight... PG 77👀. The book is put together in the best way possible, so excited to have it and to learn food independence! Buy this book!

This book is gorgeously designed! I love that it’s a step by step- how to grow, store/preserve, cook, etc. with several different types of food/herbs! I’m a beginner and super excited to take this along with me as I learn how to start growing and preserving my own food! So well done!!!

This book is EXTREMELY basic. General overview of topics without much substance. Not the best beginner book or book to learn from. Says it is good for people of all skill levels and it is not.There is one recipe that has the totally wrong instructions listed. Those instructions are the same as a different recipe on the page before.

I am a newer gardener and started following Amber on IG recently. I really want to be able to grow a garden organically and she gives so many good ideas. I especially love the companion planting tips and other natural ways to prevent pests. The book touches on gardening but also gives many recipes and ways to preserve what you grow. I’m really enjoying it so far!

Rookie, Beginner, Intermediate… it literally doesn’t matter. Amber has so much knowledge to give in this beautiful book. I have felt so many emotions as I have dug in. I have purchased so many gardening/homesteading books and this one by FAR tops them all. I love it so much that not only have I not been able to put it down.. but this morning I also ordered a second copy for my best friend. Just BUY THE BOOK. Such a treasure trove of information. This book has great pictures to go along with the recipes and you can easily make these recipes yourself. Such a great resource for your at home library.

Van de kwaliteit van de grond tot het behouden van zaad voor volgende jaren, als ook het zaaien van goede begeleiders van je groenten en het genieten van je producten met lekkere recepten en methoden tot bewaren.Extra aandacht is er voor tomaten, pepers, komkommer, bonen, wortelen, courgette, kolen en aardappelen. Alles wat we hier in Nederland ook in de volle grond kunnen groeien.Een aanrader voor zowel beginner als gevorderde.Wat een extra pluspunt is dat de schrijver zeer toegankelijk op Instagram voor vragen, opmerkingen, extra uitleg.
