Here's a really excellent set of premium nonstick cookware for a reasonable price. The rough stone-like exterior finish is nice looking and very durable, and from experience with other T-fal cookware that uses the exact same nonstick surface I know that these will hold up for years to come. These pots and pans are made of some unusually thick (1/8"!) metal, so it's unlikely they will warp even if exposed to excessive heat. The handles are really soft and rubber-coated which give an excellent grip, and they're riveted firmly in place unlike the cheaper screw-mounted handles which have a bad habit of coming loose over time. The fact that they're oven-safe is a big selling point, too. It'd be the perfect little starter set for someone just getting their first apartment, though for me they're an excellent addition to my existing T-fal cookware collection. The utensils included are nothing special, but they're made of some pretty stiff plastic and aren't overly flexible like a lot of plastic spoons are. I can't really think of any major negatives of this set - there's certainly cheaper no-name brands out there, but you get what you pay for and these would be a great value even if I were paying full price.

I love this set. I am always so impressed with the T-Gal brand for high-quality products. I have too many pots and pans, but these are awesome. It is a greater starter set with often used sizes. The pans are scratch resistant and food doesn't stick. The kids are included and fit well. This would be a great set to gift someone regardless of their cooking ability. I would recommend and purchase again.
