5.0 out of 5 stars First metal cutoff blade
Know this is my first metal cutoff blade for metal. I found it to be a capable metal blade for the cutoff saw. I’ve got this in a Porter Cable saw and this blade works very well, eliminating bog and vibrations in the saw. Smooth and fast. Heat is a killer so keep moderate pressure on the material and be sure the material is secure. Metal chips are clean but sharp and plentiful in larger cuts. Cut some 090 x 1.5” square tube with easy. Great value for the money.
5.0 out of 5 stars Cuts 11 ga. 4x4 like butter
I love the aggressiveness of the blade. It cuts through metal building framework professionally with money saving speed.

4.0 out of 5 stars I'd have given it 5 stars if the package included more safety instructions and warnings.
For my application this blade was a miracle cure. I've been using steel suspended ceiling tees and wall angles as joinery reinforcement in cabinet drawer making. I can increase drawer capacity by 5 - 10%, but the cut ends of the steel are exposed on the underside and back of the drawer. This means that I must have a clean cut and no burrs or sharp edges. For appearance sake the white finish of the steel parts must not be discolored, or must be touched up with a white coating after assembly. Cutting with hand tools was terribly slow, and still required much finishing touch-up. cutting with abrasive tools was hard to control and severely burned the white finish, also needing much touch-up work. With this blade in a small sliding chop saw (made for 7-1/4" blades) I held the steel tee in a wooden fixture and made repeated accurate and square cuts with no burning and no deformation of the thin steel parts. thirty seconds of cleanup on a drill press mounted sanding mop gave me finished parts with no burrs or sharp edges, and no burnt or discolored finish. This blade cuts steel cleanly and after the first half dozen drawers is still as sharp and accurate as when I began. I can't know how long it would last in thicker steel shapes but for my money it is far better than abrasive blades. My only complaint is that cutting steel exposes one to many hazards including fire and flying sparks and sharp fragments. Some warnings are printed on the blade, but I would have liked to see a comprehensive instruction sheet or booklet promoting safe use practices.

Cuts steal like butter
5.0 out of 5 stars Going to give a five-star review on first day of use
With everything cost you more than ever in 2024 The last thing I want to do is spin top dollar on a metal cutting blade. Not only is it ¢40 to $60 cheaper than my local box store or specialty store in town, it comes same day if you order by like 10:00 a.m. on Bolo Prime. It cut flat bar and tubing just like the original blade that came with my metal cutting chop saw did. This 66 tooth is perfect for cutting mild steel. I will hopefully do a review on how long I get out of this blade. But for $63 and change with shipping same day or next day depending on when you buy it can't go wrong.
