I have been drinking death wish dark roast for a few years now but it is too dark for my husband’s flavor profile as he always prefers a lighter roast but still wants strong coffee. I was so excited when I saw this brand launched a light roast. I bought him the 30 pack as a holiday present and he absolutely loves it. Has fully switched over from Dunkin…and we will be buying again as he is almost through the 30 pack!

I don't like coffee that is heavily concentrated, and this light roast was pretty good. I had never tried this Death Wish coffee brand before. The taste was very pleasant to me, it felt almost silk-like. I might look into this coffee brand more.Overall, I would recommend it if you're into coffee that's on the lighter side.

I was super excited when this came up in Vine. Death Wish is one of those coffees that I know just about everyone in my life will like, either because of the brand name recognition alone or because it's just nice coffee.This comes in K Cups, so there's definitely a bit of ease here as far as making this goes. No issues with the containers, but I do want to remind everyone to recycle or repurpose K cup containers as much and as often as you can.Flavor-wise, these are nice. Light roast is one of my favorite blends when my body allows me to drink coffee, as it's just pleasant, goes well with any type of milk, and has a pleasant aroma. It also tends to have more caffeine than others, if that's something you're looking for in a brew. This is something I'd absolutely recommend for a family or holiday gathering, or for the office.Price-wise, this is average for what you'd pay for nicer coffee nowadays. You could probably get cheaper elsewhere, but it won't be as nice.

The packaging comes in one rectangular box with three smaller individual boxes, each containing 10 individual pods. Each pod weighs 15g, with roughly 12g of coffee grounds packed to the brim of the K-cup- on the upper end of ground content for K-cups, in my experience.I measured this out because I was doing pour-over. K-cups are great and ultra-convenient, but this morning my Keurig wasn’t feeling so good… *pat-pat*.As for the coffee- no complaints. It’s delicious. The light-roasted Arabica leans more toward the floral/silky/sweet side, as opposed to the bolder, chocolatey medium/dark roasts, and I got just that. The grounds taste fresh, and the puffy, airtight seal on the K-cup is a testament to good packaging.Honestly, the only thing I’m uncertain about is the reactions I’ll get when I tell folks the brand name- “Death Wish Coffee!” Other than that, it’s really delicious coffee.

I was a bit worried that Death Wish Coffee’s light roast might be too heavy handed for me or keep me up for days and days, but neither was true! It has a fresh, smooth taste and a pleasing aroma that I really enjoyed. I'm not into dark roast, so this blend was perfect. Plus knowing it’s fair trade and organic makes me feel a bit better about supporting them...besides their undeniably cool name! Great coffee with a great mission!

I have ordered whole beans from Death Wish before, but this was my first time trying their coffee pods. The coffee has a very fresh taste and aroma, and seem very high quality. I have been impressed with them with other offerings, and this one is no exception. I ordered light roast because it was on sale, in general I prefer a full or medium roast, and I think I'll do so with these in the future, as I prefer a stronger coffee flavor. But these are very good, and if you're seeking a light roast/breakfast blend these will be perfect.

So my typical brew is a chocolatey and smooth dark roast. I was pretty excited to try this, such a departure from my usual, and it did not disappoint! The brew is sweet and only mildly acidic, I drank mine as I prefer, undoctored. I didn't find a need for any sugar or cream to balance bitterness or acidity, it was pretty mild and delicious as is. I was really impressed! My husband is not a coffee drinker at all, but I convinced him to take a second sip, too. This coffee makes a satisfying cup even from a keurig, and the recyclable pod was quick and easy to de-cap and toss. I'd get this again.
