The frame and inset LED lighting, which looks almost like a tube, result in the light being concentrated to the front and center, which is where you want it; so the mirror is brighter than it would otherwise be, for the same power consumption.The mirror loses a star because I had real difficulty making the three color lighting work. I prefer a design where the color and the intensity are on separate buttons. When they are on the same one, you can get exasperated pressing too long or too short and getting surprising results.Packaging is well thought out and installation is really simple. I appreciated the plug, which enables immediate testing.

This is perfect for our smaller bathroom, The Mirror would always get super foggy so when you got out of the shower, you could not use the mirror, even if you have a venting fan. Just one touch of the de-fogging button and no wiping required! which means no streaks in the mirror once it dries! The lights are bright enough and having the ability to change the color temperature of them is nice.Overall installation was super easy, you can either plug it in to an outlet, or hardwire it in behind the wall. I am pleased with this mirror and I'm glad I got it!
