Very thoughtfully-designed humidifier for how inexpensive it is. I've looked at quite a few trying to find one I really like, and this is probably the best I've used. Air is forcefully push out of the atomizer at good speed, with a "lip" near where the mist is exhausted which seems to help with water pooling along with the higher speed of air output.It's able to achieve this while still being a top-loader (I'd strongly recommend getting a top-loading humidifier). Compared to others I've used, it's easy to get the tank out of and put back into the base -- but being a top-loader, you can just fill a gallon jug of water and dump it into the tank that way if you like. Because it uses more than just bare atomizers at the top, however, you can't dump water in without taking the lid off, which is only a very minor inconvenience, and I think it's a good tradeoff here.The oil diffuser pad uses a push-in slot with a spring which feels pleasant to interact with. Oil messes with the atomizer if it reaches it in substantial quantity, so they seem to have a nice system here to help prevent that, with the only drawback being you don't get very much scent out of it unless you use a very strong fragrance (but you may also view this as a positive; the large room I have this in definitely has a distinct smell, but it's not distracting; you don't notice it unless you've been away for a while).The only real feature I'd like to see in this humidifier over what it has would be it taking USBC power instead of AC power in. It's easier, cheaper, more efficient, and safer for me to add a passthrough device to control the humidifier's power state if I'm dealing with relaying 5VDC instead of 120VAC. With 120VAC, my passthrough/relay device would be in the same boat as the humidifier, needing to waste electricity to rectify and downvolt it, and introducing more risk of something going catastrophically wrong. That said, companies certainly do today make smart A/C outlets if you really want that programmability here.(just in case someone else becomes confused by the wording in the packaging and manual: the "sponge" in the plastic bag referred to in the packaging and manual in the base is just styrofoam shipping material; you can toss it out; it doesn't get installed anywhere.)

Got this for my son't room that's about 10x10 and this humidifier handles that size well. We live in TX where it's quite dusty and the air can be pretty dry at times, especially when the heat is in use during the cold months. My son gets quite frequent nose bleeds with that dryness and THIS is the solution. We run it with distilled water, so we just keep a gallon jug in the room somewhere in the closet so we don't have to move the container to fill it and it works out perfect.Love the compact size so it can be tucked away in the corner (we did elevate it on a little stand). Love that we can also add some essential oils for aromatherapy if desired. Great with lavender for sleep at night or some type of eucalyptus/menthol oils for cold. Be aware that using this with oils over time may stain some parts or make it hard to clean due to natural build up of oils. If you do just clean frequently to prolong the life of humidifier.Great little device that is small, light, but very capable.

This humidifier is really large. I love that it has a top fill and adjustable misting levels. You can also use essential oils in this humidifier too.

- This 4L humidifier is great for my kids' room, especially looking forward to using it when the heater dries out the air in the winter. It runs super quietly, so it doesn’t disturb anyone’s sleep, which is a huge plus.- I love that it’s easy to clean—the large opening makes it simple to get inside and wipe down.- The instructions say it needs cleaning every 72 hours of runtime, which feels a bit much. I’m planning to use distilled water to stretch that out.- One small downside: the water container is slippery and kind of awkward to carry to the sink. It’s actually easier to just fill it with another container, especially if you’re using distilled water anyway, so it’s not a big deal for me.- As a small bonus there is a spot in the back for aromatics. Unlikely I will use it but I didn’t notice it was there until I opened it.- Assuming it holds up well, I don’t have any complaints!

I really like this humidifier because it looks really aesthetically pleasing, and functions with all of the right capabilities. Right away it holds water very well, the seal was good, and the container is very clean and easy to see through.The aromatherapy box is nice, does a great job of being convenient, and easy to operate. In addition to product constructions really nice easy to take the parts and clean them or remove them, and the adjustment knob as well and is very easy to use the on or off position.The indicator light is color-coded so you can see when things are needed such as a water shortage in the tank. Also the humidifier itself is not that heavy, but feels very sturdy.Overall fantastic product.

I ordered this humidifier for my nephew who struggles with frequent bloody noses in the cold, dry weather months. I have owned several different humidifiers myself and what set this one apart was the ease of filling the water tank. The lid comes completely off so you can bring water to the unit in a gallon jug or pitcher rather than having to carry the water tank to the sink. The auto shut-off was also a huge bonus as not all humidifiers come with that feature. Excellent product! Five stars!!
