At first I thought the “map” as my son calls it was a tool for teaching how puzzles are done…. But in our case, it’s actually just encouraging for those kids whom feel overwhelmed in starting this “daunting task” as my son did. He didn’t have time to be figuring out such things. Lol now, just a short while later, if I’m right there letting him think he’s helping me vs. him doing it alone… he’s a pro! Doesn’t prefer the “map” mostly but he very much used it to “cheat” racing his sister to finish.

This was fun artwork. We joked the dogs were our dogs cousins. Tried to build the puzzle on the poster which was the same size but it kept falling apart due to folds in poster. So we moved the pieces to the floor. This was somewhat better but if the puzzle was even nudged a little the pieces would fall off. Very hard for wiggly little ones when the pieces don’t stay together. Regardless, this puzzle is good for critical thinking and matching skills. The 4 year old did pretty good, but the 2-yr old struggled. I totally had to help them but guessing they will do better next time.

Such a cute variety of puppies on this puzzle! We have a couple of dog-loving, puzzle-loving kiddos in our life and they were so excited with this puzzle. The 2-year-old loves to help sort the pieces and the 4-year-old is a whiz at putting the puzzles together. This one did take a little help from me, but the more times he does it, the easier it is for him.

Our little 3 year old is hooked on floor puzzles so finding fun quality ones is the best! The pieces are sturdy so that they won't bend easily and they stay together well. Less structured edges add a fun challenge and end product as well. The images are clear, bright and cheerful and having the fold out image to follow along to instead of the box image is a huge bonus!
