We've all seen the commercial with the chaotic household and the parents escape to the calm, using these scent beads in the laundry. They definitely inspire calm with the lavender scent, it's not overpowering like some flowery scents are. I bought this large value size because it's a great price, it works extremely well to extend the fresh scent on your clothing, and you can choose alot of scent or just a touch of scent, depending on how much you use. I use it in almost all of my loads of laundry. Great buy.

Don't lie! You love these as much as I do. If you're new here, these scent beads are a must! Disclaimer: if you're sensitive to strong smells, maybe skip this one. But, if it's your jam, like me, get these now! I always get the lavender and vanilla bean scent and never regret it. Did I mention it smells amazing? Besides that, depending on how much you use, they dissolve just fine in the wash. They don't stain your clothes or change the feel or texture. At first, I thought it was a replacement for fabric softener, which is really bad for both your clothes and your washing machine. However, they aren't and won't damage anything. Pro-tip: you can put some in a small, mesh baggie and place them in your dresser drawers or even pack them in your gym bag or suitcase. In the words of Travis from Clueless "two very enthusiastic thumbs up, fine holiday fun". :D

I love the way this smells and I don’t have to use a whole lot of it! I use it with my detergent to amplify it. One note, do not use on speed wash as the pellets don’t disintegrate. It needs to be a full wash cycle. I felt it was good value for my money too!

I fell in love with this scent when I was out shopping for a new laundry detergent that was scented. I normally use a free and clear unscented laundry detergent but since I have noticed a nasty musty smell on my clean laundry I figured I'd try something with a scent unfortunately I didn't find one that I liked so I decided to check out scent beads and see if I liked any of those . Well I saw this lavender and vanilla bean one and fell in love with it , but than I also found the rain and blue Eucalyptus scent that I fell in love with as well ! Lol I ended up buying the rain and blue Eucalyptus one since i figured my husband would like it better. After using the one i bought in the store for a few days I decided I needed to try the Lavender and Vanilla Bean ... I can tell you it's an amazing scent and it not overpowering at all it also complaints the other scent I'm using. Anyway I have been using about a tea spoon full in a full load of laundry and it worked wonderfully ! I can definitely smell a difference . I use about the same amount of the rain and Blue Eucalyptus scent as well .. its been about 3 days since I used it now and everything still smells great ...so a little will go a long way ! Overall I'm pretty impressed with them and I definitely will be buying more of both scents .

Upon smelling and opening this has a very powerful smell, lets hope it lasts on clothing. I used the recommended amount with my laundry (and a little more for good measure). It seems the product didn't stick and offered a nice sheen on the clothing when washing. When removing my clothing, the smell of this product was amazing. For Downy, it's simple. I like all their products but it is a matter of HOW long the scent lasts. Going on a week and I can still smell this on my clothing. Simple, effective, and a standard downy product. Great scent.

I absolutely love the smell of these lavender downy beads! I put them in the washer with all the bedding, towels, etc.The scent lasts a long time which is important to me! I will continue to buy it as long as they make it! The smell definitely relaxes me, so I'd say it works well for everything!

I bought this while it was on sale and I am hooked!!! I wish the sale would have allowed me to buy more at the great price. It works amazingly well to provide a scent that lasts for a long time. It’s 1.5 pounds of smelling goodness so it’s a good size that will probably last a household of 4 about a month. The packaging has great durability and is attractive to the eye. The beads work fine for our septic system as well.
